Hello All, Please help my daughter Lauren and her young team of entrepreneurs by voting for their project (LOQUAT) - supporting Arab scientists and researchers. Help us make our Arab community better by voting for us!! This will enable us to make this project real. (LOQUAT) Step 1️⃣ Create an account by registering with a valid email and phone number. Step 2️⃣ Enter the confirmation code you received via message (it will take a maximum of one minute) Step 3️⃣ When you log in, you will receive 10,000 MEET coins to invest in a project. 🔥THE INTERSECTION OF EDUCATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP Hello, Africa! It's your AfriRadar family once again. Today, we want to enlighten you on how education and entrepreneurship meet in the economic growth and development of Africa at large. Educated entrepreneurs in Africa possess soft skills and knowledge required to innovate, adapt and succeed in a dynamic market. 👉Education has enhanced entrepreneurial effort in several ways. Some of these ways include: - Skill Development: Education provides essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. These skills are fundamental for entrepreneurs to navigate challenges and seize opportunities. - Knowledge Acquisition: Educated entrepreneurs gain knowledge about business management, finance, marketing, and other relevant fields. - Networking Opportunities: Educational institutions often provide platforms for networking with peers, mentors which can lead to partnerships and funding opportunities. - Access to Resources: Many educational programs provide access to resources such as incubators, accelerators, and funding opportunities which can be instrumental in turning ideas into businesses. 🥁Now, let's see a few examples of notable eduacted entrepreneurs who have leveraged education to enhance their entrepreneurial ventures. ● David Bozward is a serial technology entrepreneur, academic leader, educator, mentor and authority on international youth entrepreneurship and education. He has also developed a portfolio of open education resources in collaboration with Beijing Foreign Studies University. ● Jeanbosco Nkunzwenimana is a Rwandan entrepreneur who founded Habona Ltd. His education and recognition helped him gain the knowledge and credibility needed to scale his business and make a significant impact in the renewable energy sector. ● Kelvin Doe, also known as DJ Focus, is a self-taught engineer from Sierra Leone. Despite not having formal education in engineering, his innovative spirit led him to create a battery and a radio transmitter from scrap materials. This exposure and education helped him further develop his skills and start his own company, K-Doe Tech. ❣️Education is a viral spark for entrepreneurs in Africa. By obtaining skills, knowledge, networks and resources enables educated entrepreneurs to innovate and contribute to economic growth. Government and organizations should place importance on education and entrepreneurship initiatives to unlock Africa's full potential. I hope today's newsletter enlightened you about the benefits of education in entrepreneurship. Leave a reaction and a comment too✨ Till next time, AfriRadar

Starting early taught me lessons I couldn’t learn any other way. 💡 The strong desire to start a startup that I see now in many high-schoolers and university students? I had that too. 🚀 But that drive only matters if you act on it.⚡ Here are 3 of the main advantages of starting a business at a young age, especially while being a student: 1. Learning from everything 📚 Everything you absorb while being a student becomes 10x more valuable when you view it through the lens of your startup. + You pay more attention because there could be faster, more measurable real-life results (little dopamine hit). 2.Low stakes, big experiments 🧠 At that stage it's perfect to take risks as consequences are small. Many know that the risks will get bigger later, so they start preparing now. 3.Surrounded by Professors 🎓 People with deep expertise, ready to help and they love seeing more engaged students trying to apply class concepts in real-life. Programs like Teenovator, ABLE Activator, Elevate AUBG Accelerator are proof of the big interest in entrepreneurship in Bulgaria. What similar entrepreneurship programs have you seen abroad?

“Entrepreneurship is something that is learned, prepared for, and reflected upon” Sophia Alj. Last Friday, Sophia Alj Endeavor Entrepreneur and Board Member, participated in a panel discussion organized by ACCEDE Internationale, focused on the importance of encouraging young students to explore the entrepreneurial world. Sofia, Co-founder and COO at Chari | YC S21 | Ecom and Fintech apps for retailers in Francophone Africa, an e-commerce startup revolutionizing the B2B sector while offering inclusive and innovative financial services in Africa, has been proactive since her youth, always aspiring to become an entrepreneur. However, she wasn't certain about her path until an opportunity presented itself. This is when a business comes to life: when the entrepreneurs are prepared, possess the mindset, the desire, the knowledge, and simultaneously encounter an opportunity where they identify a problem with a viable solution that people want to adopt. Highlights from the discussion: - In today's landscape, many initiatives and programs facilitate young students' entry into the entrepreneurial world during their university. These include conferences, networking events, pitching competitions allowing them not to limit themselves to academic knowledge but to develop practical skills that form the foundation of a solid entrepreneurial mindset. - The importance of extracurricular activities lies in helping students discover themselves, their resources, and develop resilience in the face of failure. - Entrepreneurial events provide students with the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, expand their professional network, and immerse themselves in a world of innovation and creativity. This panel provided an opportunity to illustrate to students what an entrepreneurial journey looks like, emphasizing that an entrepreneur is someone who is passionate about his work, well-prepared with the necessary mindset and resources, perseverant, and opportunistic. Additionally, it highlighted the importance of instilling an entrepreneurial mindset in youth to cultivate a resilient generation capable of generating value for our country and economy. #highimpact #youthempowerment #entrepreneurship
