I would like to publicly share with you a letter that was sent today to hundreds of tech leaders around the globe (investors, multinational companies, innovation agencies etc.) following the October 7th horrific massacre. As a nation we are mourning, but more united than ever. The unique resilience and unparalleled determination of Israel’s population are based on the same can-do attitude that is the secret of the Start-Up Nation. Stepping up to the challenge by taking considerable risks to fulfill our vision is engrained in our DNA. In the letter we thank the global tech leaders who stand with Israel and continue to support the ecosystem in the current difficult time. We are a nation that faced numerous difficult times but have pulled ourselves up time and again and proceeded to create a tech sector that consistently emerged from every crisis stronger than before, and so it will this time as well. I must assure you that during this difficult time, the Innovation Authority is fully committed to ensuring that our many talented entrepreneurs, promising start-ups and high-tech companies will continue to thrive well into the future.
