Exactly 6 years ago I was answering questions on StackExchange daily. This led me to landing my first software engineering job in February 2018. Here’s what I did: 1. Find an interesting question on a topic I’m not familiar with 2. Research the topic; read documentation and code, build a prototype 3. Write an answer in a simple and understandable way and publish it to get feedback. This thing alone boosted my learning process by months. Instead of solving some textbook challenges, I had to find solutions to real world problems other engineers were facing. Once I landed my first engineering job, I simply continued doing what I was already doing at home.

We are hosting another Growth Engineering Meetup and I would like to invite you to join us!🙌 You can look forward to meeting great experts such as Jakub Kubiš from itrinity, Samuel Nvota from Kale, Michal Parizek from Mojo, and Dominik Plšek from Productboard.🚀 In this panel discussion, we will share real-world examples, and explore how to maximize outcomes by making thoughtful trade-offs. We will cover the following important questions: 🔹 What is the role of a Growth team in a product organization and why is it important? 🔹 What role does data play in guiding decisions in the PLG strategy? 🔹 Does PLG automatically mean SMB-focus? 🔹 What are the most common trade-offs that PLG teams face? 🔹 What frameworks or methodologies to use to evaluate potential trade-offs? 🔹 How to ensure that all team members are aligned and understand the reasons behind certain trade-offs? 🔹 How to involve customers in the decision-making process? 🔹 How to you balance short-term gains with long-term goals? 🔹 How to determine whether a growth initiative has been successful? If you can't make it, don't despair! We'll live-stream the Meetup and send you a recording afterward. Thanks a lot, and I look forward to meeting you eventually! #cphdevfest was great. Even though it was a few weeks ago, I am still digesting some of the ideas I picked up, and reading up on some of the topics that tickled my curiosity. I wrote some reflections here: https://lnkd.in/gFw4Xa2E with tips on sessions to watch. Also, note the URL 😉 . I'm starting a tech blog initiative at Kraftvaerk. And this is the first article 🥇
