The IACS published its Annual Review for 2023. The most noticeable changes compared to the previous year: ABS was able to stop the negative trend, overtaking DNV and swapping places in the rankings accordingly. Eleven out of twelve IACS members have seen an increase in the number of ships but have held their position. New to the list: Türk Loydu (TL). This class has been a member of IACS since the first of November 2023 and counts 114 ships. The numerical difference of 1,198 between the entire IACS fleet and the ships registered in the individual classes can be attributed to the double-classed ships, which are then also counted twice. #maritime #classification #iacs #maritimeindustry #ankron #shipping #watertreatment #commissioning #safety

New and Experienced Project Managers, Have you ever found yourself mid-project with a key member of your team quitting or having to leave due to an emergency? In the military, we have contingencies and we also strive to ensure everyone is trained to the same standard, allowing for lateral task transfer. However, in the private sector, especially with specialists, engineers, and technicians, I'm curious how this translates because I would imagine it happens in the real world. How did it affect your process, timeline, and overall project health? Feel free to share your experiences! #projectmanagement #conflict #opendiscussion #CAPM #PMP #curious
