Bread, grains, flour, and even pasta - there are increasingly more gluten-free products available. They are often discussed and considered dietary and beneficial. Is gluten really harmful? Gluten can be harmful only for people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity. 🚩Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder in which the consumption of gluten damages the small intestine. 🚩Non-celiac gluten sensitivity is characterized by symptoms similar to those of celiac disease but without autoimmune damage to the intestines.
