ALG Consulting’s Post

Part 1 of 3. "The Event Producer" I bought my first Bitcoin when it was at $26, was at the first SXSW when the second week turned from movies to technology, and I produce about 4 major technology conferences around the globe a year. I have seen the first internet bubble and as we are in a bull run now, the second will eventually come. So I get a chuckle when I am working a convention, conference, or even a mixer that a client is paying me to make spectacular, and a person or company is very interested in speaking with me until... It comes out that I am JUST the "event producer." Suddenly no one wants to speak with me and I am the village idiot. I think it's funny, I am not an expert in the crypto/web3 industry, but it is my hobby so I stay interested. I do know a lot more about it than most friends my age and I am around it and deal with it often, so I think my opinion matters, right? Last June, ALG was part of a huge global tech conference, the pinnacle of new blockchains and DeFi startups getting money just thrown at them. A large number of the attendees were big money investors which I didn't realize until this happened. I was speaking with this company ZZZZZ (companies, products, people shall remain anonymous) who paid big money to have a booth at the convention. They tell me they are looking for funding because the last of their startup capital had been spent on the convention in hopes to find funding. Interesting, I thought, tell me about your product? At this point, they don't know that I am "just the producer of the event." So as we get into what they are doing, this man about my age walks over and starts to listen. So the company gets done with the presentation and I was lost. I had no idea what they were doing, who their target market was, and what the product even did. Okay, maybe I am "just a producer." The guy next to me leaves, and these two young presenters go crazy as they inform me that the guy next to me was XXXXX, one of the most wealthiest people in the crypto industry and is a major investor in 2 mega VC companies. He is a billionaire. WOW! They were ecstatic as the main reason they came to the convention was to pitch to guys like that, cool. They asked for my opinion about the product, and I kindly lied and said you guys should have no problem finding investors. They said that it? That is when I had my out and said I am "just the producer of the event" at which time I kindly said good luck and left. Perfect, I got out of giving my real opinion. Come back next week for Part 2 "The Billionaire". Aram Mughalyan H.E. Justin Sun Natalia Gutiérrez
