Great article about the imperative need for a governing board to value quality and safety. In the book "Zero Harm," Craig Clapper PE , James Merlino, MD , and Carole Stockmeier discuss this exact topic. They say that If quality and safety is not defined as core value for the organization and simply discussed as a priority, commitment and safety culture through the Frontline will continue to be a challenge. Priorities change. Safety and quality are not the flavor of the month. https://lnkd.in/e_4SUvg4
