Last week at the Dodge Marion facility, we completed a 1-week Kaizen event with a focus on general cleaning, housekeeping, and Standardization. Thanks to these incredibly hard-working individuals, we were able to combine many years of tribal knowledge with Lean pull production concepts to create sustainable work instructions and physical interpersonal Kanban. Change is challenging, but sustaining it is the hardest step in closing the Continuous Improvement loop. The Kaizen event may be over, but Kaizen isn't. I couldn't have asked for a better team. Thank you to everyone who was involved!
