"PHOTO SHOOT DUBAI" ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION My Idea for HH Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Dubai Culture & Arts Authority “Photo Shoot Dubai” will be an annual competition of professional photography of Dubai. “Photo Shoot Dubai” will be conducted by Dubai Culture and Arts Authority in which professional photographers will submit their photos of Dubai taken during the corresponding year. Every year there can be different categories under which photos will be submitted like “Dubai Architecture”, “Dubai Skies”, “Dubai Nights”, “Faces of Dubai”, etc. Likewise there can be different technical categories of photos of Dubai such as color photos, monochrome photos, black and white photos, etc. Photos enhanced or changed by Photoshop and other software applications will not be accepted. There may be an amateur photographers’ category also in which armature photographers will submit their photos of Dubai. The idea is to glamorize further Dubai in the eyes of the world to attract more tourism and business. There will be different prizes for the best photo entries in different categories. “Photo Shoot Dubai” can be held with sponsorship from different businesses. #Dubai

Building on Manifesta’s legacy of transforming spaces through artistic engagement, Casa Gomis will now become a dynamic cultural centre. It will continue its rich tradition of creativity and exchange while exploring the relationship between art and the environment.

The Peninsula Hotels, owned and operated by The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited, is expanding its Art in Resonance program with London’s Victoria and Albert Museum. The first project from the partnership will debut with a series of contemporary art installations at The Peninsula Hong Kong in March 2025, aligned with Art Basel Hong Kong 2025. The inaugural collaboration will include two bespoke commissions and a centerpiece installation curated by Dr. Xiaoxin Li, the V&A’s curator of its Asia department.
