Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Onondaga County, NY, joyously marked the gifting of its 1.5 millionth book with a vibrant celebration at Northern Onondaga Public Library (NOPL) North Syracuse! County Executive Ryan McMahon presented the milestone book to Rocco Cestaro of Clay, NY, surrounded by 14 excited pre-school classmates. Rocco was recently among seven individuals globally to receive a prestigious golden Dolly Parton bookmark, commemorating the Imagination Library's achievement of gifting over 200 million books worldwide. This special bookmark gave him the privilege of a video chat with Dolly and complimentary tickets to the Dollywood Theme Park. In an extra dose of magic, Southwest Airlines generously donated 5 roundtrip airline tickets for Rocco and his entire family, granting them the opportunity to embark on their summer adventure at the Dollywood Theme Park in Tennessee! As a heartfelt gesture, The Dollywood Foundation will also contribute $2,000 to the DPIL Literacy Coalition of Onondaga County on behalf of Rocco.
