𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 Stepping into Nitin Barchha's Material Immaterial Studio last weekend felt like discovering a hidden realm of wonder, the same enchanting space I’ve visited before, yet it still feels profoundly new. As we drifted through conversations as diverse as the world outside the studio walls, I recalled when I first met Nitin in 2021, he’d said, “At the core of our work, there's a consistent desire to create non-objective things – things that stand alone with an identity not confined by their utility.” Revisiting the studio, the sense of discovery is as potent as ever. Each object, carefully placed and curated, invites contemplation and playful indulgence. With a story behind every design object and a rooted 'play led purpose' behind every form, with a quiet urge for a, "What if?". I’m particularly drawn in by the 'designed energy' of each creation. More than the material presence, it’s the spiritual resonance that sets them apart, transforming objects into 'Tangible Thoughts.' This energy reflects the creators' essence, their passion, and purpose, making each of them a conversation with the soul, brimming with potential.
