🍫 The Midnight Buzz by Domeli Coffee 🍸 ☕ Ingredients: 42.62 ml (1.5 oz) Domeli Coffee Gold Espresso (freshly brewed and slightly cooled) 28.42ml (1 oz) good quality vodka 14.21ml (0.5 oz) dark chocolate liqueur (like Godiva or Crème de Cacao) 14.21ml (0.5 oz) honey syrup (see instructions below) Large orange zest strip, plus a bit extra for garnish Ice Equipment: Cocktail shaker Coupe or martini glass Instructions: Make Honey Syrup: Combine equal parts honey and hot water in a small container, stir until honey is fully dissolved. Muddle Zest: In your cocktail shaker, gently muddle the large orange zest strip to release its oils. Shake it Up: Add the espresso, vodka, chocolate liqueur, honey syrup, and a good amount of ice to the shaker. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until thoroughly chilled. Strain & Garnish: Strain into your chilled coupe or martini glass. Twist a smaller piece of orange zest over the drink to express a bit more oil, then drop it in as a garnish. Tips: High-quality ingredients make a big difference. Use a vodka you enjoy on its own. For a richer flavor, rim the glass with a mixture of cocoa powder and sugar before pouring. Coffee soda of the month: Orange & Lime. Coffee sodas are my jam. I have one every afternoon. While citrus and coffee might sound surprising, it’s such a good balance of flavors. Citrus, sweet, bitter, bubbles… it’s got it all! I posted about a recipe for a grapefruit coffee soda about a month ago and had a bunch of questions and interest, so here's my newest recipe: Here’s the recipe: 2 oz orange & lime simple syrup 8 oz sparkling water ice 2 oz espresso If you make it in that order, the espresso and sparkling water shouldn’t bubble over the top of the cup. For the orange & lime simple syrup: 25-30g orange zest (~1 naval orange) 150g sugar 100g water 50g lime juice (~1.5 limes) 1. Use a peeler to go around and peel/zest entire orange into saucepan 2. Add sugar and water. 3. Bring to a boil, stir, and then let sit. 4. Strain into another container (I use a fine mesh strainer for cocktails) 5. Juice limes, and strain into your simple syrup (fine mesh strainer) 6. Shake to combine Two coffees in my day are non-negotiable: a cup of hot coffee when I wake up and an iced coffee after lunch. Coffee sodas have been my favorite afternoon drink for a while now, and I switch up the flavor every couple of months!

We're sharing a delicious recipe for coffee liqueur that you can easily make at home, of course using your favourite #Carnivalcoffeeroaster beans. ☕️🍹 Homemade Coffee Liqueur Recipe: Ingredients: 1 cup #Carnivalcoffeeroaster coffee beans, freshly ground 1 1/2 cups water 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise 2 cups vodka Instructions: Brew the coffee beans with the water and allow it to cool. In a medium saucepan, combine the brewed coffee and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely, stirring occasionally. Add the split vanilla bean and simmer for 10 minutes to infuse the flavour. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool. Once cool, strain the mixture into a glass jar. Add vodka to the jar and stir well. Seal the jar and let it sit for at least 1 week, shaking the jar gently every day. After a week, strain the liqueur again and transfer it to a clean bottle. Enjoy your homemade coffee liqueur in cocktails, over ice cream, or on its own! Cheers! 🍹 Let us know how it turns out! Cold Brew Coffee Recipe Ingredients: · 1 cup coarsely ground coffee beans · 4 cups cold, filtered water Instructions: 1. Place the coarsely ground coffee in a glass container (a mason jar works well). 2. Add the cold, filtered water and stir gently to wet all the grounds. 3. Cover the container with plastic wrap or a lid. 4. Let it sit at room temperature for 12 to 24 hours. 5. Taste occasionally and discard the grounds when the coffee reaches your desired strength. 6. Strain the coffee through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into another container. 7. Store the strained cold brew coffee in the fridge. This cocktail is perfect for summer gatherings or anytime you want a cool, invigorating drink. To make a mint margarita, you’ll need a few key ingredients: fresh mint leaves, tequila, lime juice, triple sec (or another orange liqueur), simple syrup, and ice. Start by preparing your glass: run a lime wedge around the rim and dip it in salt or sugar, depending on your preference. This step not only adds a decorative touch but also enhances the drink’s flavor profile. For the simple syrup, you can make it at home by dissolving equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Let the syrup cool before using it in the cocktail. Next, in a cocktail shaker, muddle about 10-12 fresh mint leaves with a tablespoon of simple syrup. Muddling helps release the essential oils from the mint, giving the drink its signature fresh taste. A cappuccino is a popular coffee drink made from espresso, steamed milk, and milk foam. as am a Traditional barista I do follow a 1:1:1 ratio of equal parts espresso, steamed milk, and milk foam when making cappuccinos. Whereas more modern, third-wave, coffee shops only offer cappuccinos with espresso and steamed milk. How does Cappuccino Made☕? A classic cappuccino calls for 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk, and 1/3 foam. You can mix it up by using 2 or 3 tablespoons of flavored syrups or even different kinds of milk, like chocolate or vanilla. Beat the Summer Heat with a Raw Mango Chili Margarita It’s Friday eve, and the perfect way to end the week is with a refreshing margarita. And what better way to celebrate summer and mango season than with a twist on the classic margarita? This recipe uses raw mango and chili for a unique and delicious flavor profile. Ingredients: 2 ounces tequila / Vodka / White Rum 1 ounce fresh lime juice 1 ounce Raw mango puree or Crushed raw mango Red Chili powder on how spicey you want, or 1/2 green chili. Lime wedges for garnish Chili & Salt Mix. Instructions: Rub the rim of a margarita glass with a lime wedge. Dip the rim of the glass in Chili & Salt Mix. Combine tequila, lime juice, mango puree, salt and chili in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a lime wedge or Mango slice and serve immediately. Presentation tips: For an extra special touch, rim your margarita glass with Salt & Chili spice mix. that will add a nice kick to your cocktail. Garnish your margarita with a lime wedge and a slice of raw mango. Enjoy your delicious and refreshing Raw Mango Chili cocktail margarita!
