A huge congratulations to Joana Mendes, the first woman to win the Domino’s World’s Fastest Pizza Maker title! 🏆 In early May, thousands of Dominoids attended the Domino’s World Wide Rally in Las Vegas, NV where the competition took place. Joana, an assistant manager at Domino’s in Ipswich, England won the title by making three large pizzas in a record-breaking 39.2 seconds! 🍕 From starting with Domino’s as a customer service representative in 2015 to achieving this incredible milestone, Joana’s dedication and passion are truly inspiring. Let me start off by saying I love Domino's. I love their outreach and how they help people....but I can't avoid saying the following. I know this is a competition, but why compete and celebrate something that will cost your business thousands of dollars in waste and extra hours cleaning that waste. ANY pizza iolo would cringe at this. Any small joint would fire you for this.
Worked at Dominos for 14 years, till I got stuck with a crappy GM, he kept manipulating his number, lying about everything, changed dates on products so they didn't expire. Clock drivers out on runs while they were still on deliveries. I reported it and they took his side. After 14 years I quit, money was good, but my morals mattered more. The company cares more about employees that are higher up than just regular employees. Our word means nothing, I had more experience than 99% of the people currently working at that store. I chose not to ever be a manager because I felt I would've not fit in; I would've actually treated the employees like employees. Seems like you have to turn into a terrible person and allow others to be wrong even when they're right.

Domino's Pakistan is third class pizza company brand in Pakistan. Very shameful experience here. I give this company 5 years but here is no reward and no respect of his employees. New operational head is very unprofessional man. He has no respect to company employees and demotivated all operational staff. That's why almost 70% old employees leave this company in last few months...

Congratulations Joana! 💥 💥 💥 AMAZING!! I LOVE the FPM competition!! I worked for Domino's for almost 20 years and went from being a Pizza Delivery Driver to running a 60+ company store region and I loved every minute of it! That was going from $3.25/hr. to a 6-figure income. I didn't look for raises. I worked for promotions. This competition is part of an incredible culture that inspires people to become more than they thought was possible. This brand has probably turned more employees into millionaires than any other brand out there. Many can criticize the "waste" and that is because they either never understood the purpose and how it changed lives or... they are outsiders that have no idea what it looks like to be in a powerful culture that trully inspires people.
it is 3 large pizza these days - there was a time, 6 large and 9 medium pizza were to be slapped, sauced and cheesed. So much fun. 😊
It is very difficult to serve pizza in front of so many people.

4moI worked for dominos for alot of years and i got two things to say: 1. If any of us used that much cheese on a pizza we would of been scolded for food cost. Id be interesting to see what kind of reward outside a belt comes with fastest pizza maker. 2. For decades dominos said they cant afford raises, dont do performance reviews unless your a general manager and yet somehow they love putting on these events all the time..
