Some of the extensively, popular irritating, injuries in football are hip flexors, quad, adductor, and pubic symphysis strains. The most common remedies to overcome these strains include stretching, the common physio myth - tight hip flexors anterior pelvic tilt. Which is not the reason? Do we need to stretch the hip flexors? Can we rectify errors in the system through stretching and core activation? I never do a static stretch 🙂 #sports #rehab #performancetraining #football #exerciseismedicine

🚀 Fixing Little League Elbow and Tennis Elbow! 💥 🔥 Here’s how to handle elbow pain on both sides: 👉 Medial Pain: Often called "Little League Elbow," it’s pain on the inside from poor acceleration mechanics. 🌪️ 👉 Lateral Pain: Known as "Tennis Elbow," it’s pain on the outside from deceleration fatigue. 🏋️♂️ 👉 Strengthen & Relax: Use a massage gun to break up tight tissue. Strengthen forearms with thumb-up curls and flips. 💪 👉 Fix Mechanics: Stay closed, separate hips and shoulders, and get pronated faster. This reduces stress on your elbow. ⚾ 🎯 Massage, strengthen, and correct your form for pain-free pitching! #TopVelocity #ElbowHealth #BaseballTraining #ArmCare #PitchingPower #PreventInjury #TrainSmart

Even if you’ve never played tennis or golf, you can still experience these overuse injuries caused by repetitive arm and wrist motion. 🦴🖐 🟩 Key Differences 01. Tennis Elbow - Pain is felt outside the elbow (lateral epicondyle). 02. Golfer's Elbow - Pain occurs inside the elbow (medial epicondyle). 🟩 Common Causes - Repetitive arm and wrist motions (e.g., typing, painting, or lifting). 🟩 Prevention & Treatment Tips 01. Rest and ice the affected area. 02. Use proper techniques during activities. 03. Consider physical therapy or using supportive braces. 04. Stay proactive and take care of your elbows! . . . . #elbowpain #shoulderpain #kneepain #tenniselbow #backpain #neckpain #wristpain #painrelief #rehab #longislandphysicaltherapy #bethpage #longisland #newyork

Understanding Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in #Tennis Players Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is a common issue among tennis players, caused by repetitive wrist and hand movements during play. The intense grip on the racquet, coupled with the quick, forceful motions of hitting the ball, can lead to compression of the median nerve in the wrist, resulting in pain, numbness, and weakness in the hand. #Riceuniversity Symptoms often start subtly but can escalate, affecting performance and enjoyment of the game. To prevent CTS, players should focus on proper technique, ensure ergonomic grips, and incorporate wrist-strengthening exercises into their training routine. Regular breaks during practice can also help alleviate strain. If symptoms arise, seeking early treatment—such as physical therapy or ergonomic assessments—can prevent long-term damage. Awareness and proactive measures are key to keeping tennis players on the court, enjoying their game without the interference of carpal tunnel syndrome. #Redoakintruments #injury #newmedicaldevice #monitor #detect #concussions #fdacleared #noninvasive #Hipaacompliant #MadeinAmerica #shoulderpain #Lowerbackpain #injuries #ricetennis

Founder & CEO of M PERFORM | Proven strategies that will help you reclaim your health and live a longer, healthier life.
Two exercises that will help you relieve knee pain - especially knees beat up over time from sports: I used to tell myself I had bad knees from tennis. That years of pounding the pavement left me with knee pain I just had to accept. But that was just the story I was telling myself. The truth was my leg muscles were unbalanced and I had poor hip mobility. By strengthening my VMO (the part of the quad on the inside of the leg) I was able to make my “bad knees” strong and pain free. — Try doing these exercises 2-3 per week (every other day ideally) 1. Heel Elevated Peterson Step Ups (3 sets x 20-25 reps) 2. Quarter Squat Holds (3 sets x 60-second holds) #kneepain #kneerehab #hipmobility #jointpain #jointmovement

❗Essential for football players ⚽🌪️ 🎯Improved Stability and Balance: Single leg exercises challenge the neuromuscular system to stabilize the body on one leg. Enhanced stability and balance reduce the risk of injury, especially to the lower extremities, by promoting better proprioception and control over movements. 🌐Functional Strength Development: Football involves frequent unilateral movements such as kicking, cutting, and sprinting, all of which heavily rely on single leg strength and power. Incorporating exercises like single leg squats, lunges etc. helps develop functional strength specific to the demands of the sport, leading to increased performance on the field. 🧭Correction of Muscular Imbalances: Many football players exhibit muscle imbalances between their dominant and non-dominant legs, as well as between different muscle groups. Single leg training helps address these imbalances by isolating each leg, allowing weaker muscles to catch up in strength and size. This equilibrium not only enhances overall athletic performance but also reduces the risk of overuse injuries associated with muscle imbalances. #futbolas #sportas #treniruote #treneris #football #soccer #singleleg #strength #gym #injuryprevention https://lnkd.in/dNqZggjc

Unlock the Benefits of Shoulder CARs! 🏋️♂️✨ Shoulder Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs) are fantastic for maintaining and improving shoulder mobility. But when you start adding implements like tennis balls, the game changes! Using a tennis ball creates more tension, magnifying the intensity of the shoulder CAR. This added resistance enhances muscle activation, increases range of motion, and boosts overall shoulder strength. Incorporate shoulder CARs with a tennis ball into your routine to: - Improve shoulder mobility - Enhance joint health - Increase muscle activation - Boost strength and stability Get those shoulders moving and feel the difference! 💪🎾 #ShoulderCARs #MobilityTraining #FunctionalFitness #ShoulderHealth #StrengthTraining #TennisBallTraining #FitnessTips #JointHealth #MovementMatters #HealthyLiving

#tenniselbow #tenniselbowtreatment #golferselbow #golferselbowtreatment Reduced Tension: Tennis elbow & Golfers elbow pain can be caused by tight muscles in the forearm that put stress on the tendons. Fascia therapy techniques like sustained pressure or strokes applied to the forearm and potentially upper arm may help loosen tightened fascia, leading to reduced tension on the tendons and potentially less pain. Improved Blood Flow: Fascia restrictions may limit blood flow to the area. Fascia therapy techniques may improve circulation, bringing essential nutrients and oxygen to the tissues, which can aid in healing and reduce inflammation. Trigger Point Relief: Fascia can sometimes contain trigger points, which are hypersensitive areas that can cause pain even in distant locations. Fascia therapists may use techniques to deactivate these trigger points, potentially reducing pain associated with tennis elbow.
