Before diving into start your Assisted Living Business you will need to learn the business inside and out. One of the main things to consider is safety when starting an Assisted Living Business. ✔️ Residents of Assisted Living Facilities are vulnerable. ✔️ Assisted Living Facilities have a responsibility to protect their residents. ✔️ If a safety incident happens there maybe serious consequences. Here are some specific examples of safety risks that Assisted Living Facilities need to be aware of: 1. Elder Abuse and Neglect 2. Falls 3. Medication Errors 4. Fires In addition to the specific risks listed above, Assisted Living Facilities also need to be aware of general safety hazards, such as slippery floors, uneven walkways and electrical hazards.
