In terms of injury prevention / resiliency, is your safety team doing what looks good? Or are you doing what works and produces results? This video might look cool and impressive to some but is the exercise going to make a better athlete? Probably not...it just makes a lot of noise! What are you doing with your safety programs or approach that are merely making noise? In today's world, it is so easy to focus on what's new and the latest technology: AI generated hazard analysis, Fancy ergonomic software that highlights the joints and gives an inaccurate representation of how the body moves, etc. Don't lose focus on what works...and that is the human factor. Technology is a tool, but not the end all. Injury prevention and worker resiliency does not have to be complicated! Early Intervention programs where a team engages with the workforce is agile and gives employees specifically what they need, to help keep workers healthy, pain free, and on the job. This is how you change the focus from a safety program that runs its course and fades away, to a procedure that is accepted (long term) by people who do the job. Don't just rely on technology, but rather engage and continue to build trust and relationships with your workforce.
