💡 A common misconception parents may have when choosing Adoption is the possibility of a Birth Mother reclaiming or taking back, their child.
🔹 This is a valid concern, and while it may be worrisome for hopeful Adoptive Families, it is important to recognize that this cannot happen once an Adoption is finalized and the Birth Mother's revocation period has ended.
🔹 Additionally, Adoption is a permanent legal agreement, and it is at the discretion of the Adoptive Parents to decide whether or not they would like to have an open, semi-open, or closed arrangement.

1moI think this is 100% wrong. What makes politicians think that no home is better than a loving home with 1 parent instead of "a mother and a father"? It would seem that this implies the exclusion of same sex couples to adopt as well. It's an attempt by politicians to force the nuclear family ideal onto everyone, rather than about giving children a good life.
