Play this Zoom Tac Toe in your next virtual meeting! 🎮🎲 If you are in a Zoom meeting with nine people or more, kick it off by playing a round of Zoom Tac Toe. How to play ⬇️🤯 👉 Have people in your meeting shift into “Gallery mode” on Zoom, or the meeting platform of your choice. Ask everyone, except for nine people, to turn their cameras off. The result should be the remaining nine people in three rows of three. Essentially, it should look like a human Tic Tac Toe board. 👉 Pick two off-camera players as the game players. These two will take turns asking one of the people on-camera to make either an X or an O with their arms. The player who gets a line of three first will win. Here is the extra challenge — not everyone sees the same people in the same order on their screen – so have them take a photo or screen shot to prove they actually won. QR code vs Zoom link. Lately, I have seen that many events added a QR code to be scanned and register for conference. QUESTION: how do I scan a QR code that is on the flyer/my phone? Do I need to have another phone or tablet to scan it? Isn't it better to just leave the Zoom link to register, or have both options to reduce the barrier of getting another device to scan the QR code?

The most advanced desk phone ever! I would say this is even bigger than when rotary dials were replaced by the touch tone phone! Who's old enough to know what I am talking about? In the world of collaboration we often forget that there are still a lot of desk phones out there in the wild. Every time I walk into a business what I am looking for, Cisco gear and a lot of times I still see phones on desks! It was only a few years ago (okay more like 4 or 5 years ago) I was out at Cisco events showcasing Cisco Phones and working with Service Provider Partners to add Cisco Phones to their portfolios. Deep down I will always have a special place in my heart for the desk phone. From the phone that was firmly tethered to the big yellow rotary dial base in the kitchen by the 25 foot ringleted cable to every phone that was on every desk I ever had since I started working in offices many years ago. I do have to admit that desk phones haven't changed a lot over the years. Sure we added some very cool displays, made the displays bigger, gave them touch screens, integrated them with meeting platforms, integrated headset support and some can ever charge your cell phone. BUT.... What if you could troubleshoot connectivity because observability was built into the device? What if the device was secure enough to lock when it was moved? What if you could reserve a desk from the desk phone? What if the desk phone only had one firmware and could run on any platform? (WxC, CUCM*, DI, Broadworks, Asterisk) What if you could program the action button to be a panic button? What if I could get it in white or charcoal? What if the desk phone consumed half the amount of power compared to the typical Cisco IP phone and was Energy Star Compliant? (Think of potential the savings!) What if your desk phone had AI built in? What if your desk phone had more CPU power and storage capacity than the first spacecraft that landed on the MOON? (Okay, not sure on that last one, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were true!) The next generation of desk phones solve all of these what-ifs and more!
