An evolution stirring within the spirits category. We're not only discovering new flavors, but also challenging the very nature of traditional spirits. Imagine once-clear spirits like #Gin #Vodka #Shochu, are now aged in barrels. This adds complexity, depth, and unique flavors to these spirits. And aging can accentuate hidden citrus notes within the spirit's soul, amplifying its inherent character. With the growing popularity of American whiskey, why not include some barrel-aged flavors? If a producer has access to casks, like sherry casks from Spain or rum casks from the Caribbean, that facilitates the process. But should aging be used as a limited-time offer (LTO) to create excitement around a brand? Tequila and mezcal had long included aging in the process, with their flavors deepening from youthful Blanco to seasoned Reposado to venerable Añejo. Interestingly, Blanco tequila remains the most popular style despite the different aging options. For others it's more about brand positioning, super premium Tequila Casa Dragones embraces this evolution with its Reposado resting in exotic Japanese mizunara casks. What are your thoughts on these evolving spirits? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I'm Sergio Matsumoto, a food, beverages and retailing expert. Customer Service and Finance Director, Simpsons Beverages | We are leaders in the science, art and innovation of flavours for drinks manufacturers, brands and companies
Ginuary is the antithesis of Dry January, a celebration of the versatile spirit, designed to help people discover new flavours, styles of #Gin and Gin-based drinks. For a gin brand targeting the mass market, mainstream flavours for both gin & gin liqueurs often centre around fruits such as raspberry and orange, or more recently watermelon and passionfruit. Floral flavours such as violet and rose, or spices including ginger and cinnamon also remain fashionable options. Though gin sales are slowing, there remain a range of opportunities for flavoured gins as according to Mintel, unique ingredients are important to 54% of people buying white spirits, including 22% who will pay more for them. At Simpsons we specialise in supplying new and exciting flavours for gin to brands, distilleries and bottlers, learn more https://hubs.li/Q02gzyfL0 #ginuary #beverageindustry #spirits

🥂 I am tired of drinking orange juice and soft drinks at events! It is 2024, and the fact that I have to write a post to spread awareness about this topic shows that inclusivity is not fully lived yet—at least not in terms of non-alcoholic options. I will keep it short—please be more inclusive in your choice of non-alcoholic beverages when planning events, apéros, meetings, etc. It is more than disappointing to have to drink orange juice or any soft drink while others enjoy their refined alcoholic drinks. And no, Muslims are not the only ones that don’t drink alcohol. In fact, more and more people are choosing not to drink alcohol during professional events or even in general—it’s a lifestyle choice. 🍾And now, screenshot this list below for some really cool non-alcoholic 🍸 options: - Adam Uva (Swiss brand, Wine & Rosé) - Tröpfel (Swiss brand, Sparkling Wine) - Rebels (Swiss brand, Gin & Spirits) - Bel Nada (Swiss brand, Aperitifs) - Almave (Mexican brand, Blue Agave Spirit) #DEI #NonAlcoholicDrinks #Inclusion #NonAlcoholicOptions #MoreOptions #MakeNonAlcoholicFun

Żubrówka Vodka Process.. Zubrowka is crafted with an intricate production process that involves maturing the vodka in oak barrels, where it blends with a macerate of bison grass. However, what truly distinguishes Żubrówka is the meticulous insertion of a blade of this distinctive grass into every single bottle, a process done by hand. The result of this laborious effort is a vodka like no other. Żubrówka Bison Grass Vodka is pure, unique, and authentic, boasting a flavor that encapsulates the very essence of the Białowieża Forest. Zu Zubrowka The Original Bison Grass Vodka begins as a luxury Polish vodka made from the finest select grains of rye that fill the spirit with a rich, natural sweetness. It is distilled four times using a unique double-step process to deliver supreme smoothness. Independently, this singular vodka would easily be considered one of the finest ever crafted. It has been said that ZU is not flavored vodka at all, but vodka with flavor. Either way, you’ll delight in the versatility of its floral aroma, smooth body, and mellow taste. Try it mixed with unfiltered apple juice, the traditional way of enjoying ZU. Copied.

The future belongs to those who invent it! CEO/ COO/ Non-Executive Director/ Finance/ Asset Management/ Corporate Governance/ M&A/ Audit Co/ Remuneration Co
The gin industry has grown rapidly in the last decade, especially in places like the UK and Spain. However, this growth has led to concerns about how gin is defined, especially with so many new flavored gins hitting the market. Industry experts like Jake Burger and Desmond Payne suggest that some of these flavored gins may not deserve to be called gin, as they often move away from the traditional juniper flavor that defines the spirit. To protect the quality of gin, they propose stricter rules, similar to the Tequila industry, to ensure transparency in production. As the market becomes crowded with various types of gin, experts believe that the gin "revolution" may be slowing down. Many consumers are stepping away from gin because of the overwhelming variety. To maintain the identity of gin, it’s important that the core ingredient, juniper, remains central. Without it, experts argue, the drink should no longer be called gin. #GinRegulations #JuniperEssence #GinRevolution #FlavoredGin https://lnkd.in/duCP4jVr
