1yThe best solution for peak day travel? Locally managed charter aircraft. Here is why… - The only flight of the day. Most locally managed aircraft will take one flight in a day. Compared to jet card/fractional/floating you may be the fourth or fifth leg that day. Highly likely your getting delayed or having a maintenance issue by that time. - No last minutes switches. Outside of a maintenance issue, once you have owner approval, your airplane is locked in. Most aircraft owners are not doing last minute holiday travel. Better dispatch reliability. one airplane is flying 500 hours and the other is flying 900 hours, which one is going to break more? Locally managed aircraft will often be more expensive. I think you have to ask yourself, how important is this trip? What is it going to cost me to lose a day?
