No such thing as too small! 😉 so here’s a small list of my NRF survive to thrive suggestions:
1. Compressions socks for the comfy shoes, shoes for the feet/back and the socks for your legs, so worth the stretching and pulling once you get the socks on
2. Try to find a friend/colleague with a booth where you can leave your coat and avoid the coat check lines
3. QR codes on business cards or just a pic of it you can pull up on your phone, even if they don’t want a card to carry, they can scan it and be on their way
4. Take the tedious time to map out your must-see exhibits, presentations and preferred food so you don’t miss anything and avoid being hangry while you’re schmoozing and dealing (I carry snacks too)
5. Have fun! Maybe I’ll see you on the floor, look for the purple and blue hair😃
Do you think your retail brand is too small to attend the NRF Big Show?
While many of the speakers, exhibitors and events are targeted toward the big guys....we think the insights and innovations can be applied at all levels in the industry.
The All Point team is scouting for retail game-changers, tools and ideas, and we're looking through the lens of "how those innovations can be leveraged for small to mid size retailers?"
"Small" is all relative. If your brand has 5-200 locations, let's talk about how you can leverage the future of retail technology to grow your brand.
If you attended, did you witness any idea-sparks at the show? Share your top takeaway.
