Creating Opportunities for Greatness—Removing barriers so others can perform at their best. | Print Production Mgr | Owner, Flying Button Design | Chair of UW Campus Supervisors Network | BizCatalyst360 Contributor
The DPPS Printshop Move: Finding Innovation Through Challenge As Print Production Manager at Digital Publishing & Printing Services, I had the opportunity to discuss the DPPS print production move that happened in 2022 with Nikki Lewallen Gregory on the Gut + Science podcast, part of the PeopleForward Network. If you’re unfamiliar with the story, here are a few key takeaways: • Embracing change and innovative planning in business relocations. • Involving staff in decision-making to enhance process improvements. • Leveraging forced change as an opportunity for operational enhancement. • The importance of maintaining effective communication and transparency during transitions. • Continuous improvement post-move to optimize workspace and processes. Enjoy the conversation! https://lnkd.in/gztkn3ZA

Foundation Year at Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture is lowkey Iconic. Most kids consider it as the best year because of all the departments being under one roof but also, the courses are extremely hands-on. My personal favorite was 3-D Design Studio like Sadiq. We would sit in the open studio and our instructor would let us create the most insane designs! Do you have any foundation year memories that you can't let go of? #sadiqshah #tuneinivs #ivs #ivsaa #podcast

Episode 1 out today! In our first episode, we interview Sean Lally, architect, professor, and host of the most successful architecture podcast, Night White Skies, and author of ‘The Air from Other Planets: A Brief History of Architecture to Come’ (Lars Müller). Join us for this first conversation as we talk about architecture's relationship to music, creative performance, writing, and paranoia. We discuss why is architecture a mute force in public life, and what can architects, designers, and people do to communicate in this crowded media landscape? We ask if drawings are still a useful medium to communicate ideas with in a world of digital twins, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and increasingly realistic simulations. Finally we get into how to run a show, talk to famous people, and not get jaded.

A 360 photo is great, but a photo alone will only go so far – its what you do with the photo that matters. In this episode, we sat down with senior vice president Clay Edwards and senior superintendent Tom Behringer from Skender to discuss how they're scaling with technology – and building better because of it. Check out the full episode wherever you listen, or catch it now on DroneDeploy Insider: https://bit.ly/4ct3bcb #360photos #technolog #construction #constructiontech #constructionpodcast
