Next up in our #BrenntagPioneers series we spotlight Carlos Graullera Marco, who has been over 30 years with us, shaping our sales and commercial activities in the Iberian market. Carlos joined Brenntag via the acquisition of a small family-owned business. Finding himself as part of the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, he mastered his way through various sales roles to being Commercial Director Brenntag Essentials in Iberia today. Teamwork and exchange are the main ingredients in his recipe for success. “Be curious, ask questions, learn from best practices and from failures and work with dedication – then success will come your way”, Carlos shares. That is why he commits a huge part of his time to meeting colleagues and business partners, visiting our sites and engages in industry organizations. Out of Brenntag’s five Core Values, “Clarity” has been most important throughout his career: “Transparent communication and clarity build trust with both colleagues and customers which is the basis for success. Clarity on the objectives and explaining why they are important and what is needed to achieve them, significantly increase the efficiency and performance of the team and the individual team members.” This mindset in combination with his long professional experience is very valuable because, together with his team, Carlos is contributing to Brenntag's transformation in Iberia which is a pilot and lighthouse region. Our 150th anniversary is a good motivation for him: “It's incredible that a company can stay on the market for 150 years, which means that a lot of good decisions have been made and the right things have been done. Last month, we had the pleasure of attending the Reverse Logistics Association (RLA) 20th annual Conference and Expo in Las Vegas. After taking time to reflect, we wanted to share some key takeaways from our co-founders, Sean Miles and Paul Logsdon 1. The Power of In-Person Connection: While travel in your 20s might be easier, there's something truly special about reconnecting with industry colleagues face-to-face after the COVID hiatus. 2. A Wealth of Knowledge to Unpack: From insightful compliance sessions to thought-provoking discussions on sustainability and customer value, the RLA conference offered a treasure trove of learning opportunities. 3.
