This ruling, while allowing retrospective collection up to April 2005 could have some financial impact on the mineral industry and related sectors. However, the decision reduces the potential for severe disruption. The staggered approach as suggested, to payment and a shorter retrospective span, will help ensure that any resulting price increases are more gradual and controlled, balancing the financial recovery for states with the operational stability for companies and minimizing the inflationary ripple effect on the economy. #SupremeCourt #CJI #FinancialImpact #MineralIndustry #RetrospectiveCollection #EconomicStability #OperationalContinuity #PriceControl #StateRecovery #IndustryStability #InflationControl #Manharjitsingh #Law https://lnkd.in/gCsYYVrr

https://lnkd.in/dg82JUup This is precisely the reason Conservatives hate CBC. The local government is afraid to exercise power against wealth. Some people, a few complain, but not enough to change anything. The important thing is that this is how business is done and people should not protest it. Protest against power must be suppressed. But truly this right here is crime, real crime. When media reports "crime" they are talking about people forced to struggle. These corporations, the wealthy owners are not struggling. They get everything they want. That is stealing. That is crime. Moving to a place that has unfairly low taxes is tax evasion. That is also crime. An even local governments have the power to mitigate crime. They choose not to use it either because they are corrupt also crime, or just cowards. Cowardice is pervasive in society. This is when someone pushes you onto a grenade to save themselves. You die, they commit murder. See how these are all crimes yet no arrests, no prosecutions. But there is an emergency at the Texas-Mexico border requiring the army. To the majority, these people crossing the border are criminals and not killing them on sight is a High Crime worthy of Impeachment.

OJK Rule No. 10/2024 as one of implementing regulations of Law No. 1/2022 regarding the Financial Relation between Central Government and Municipal Government. This law addresses the issuance of municipal bonds or sukuk as funding resources for municipal governments budget. It is expectes that the issuance of Law No. 1/2022 and its implementing regulations will encourage municipal governments to issue bonds or sukuk to support their annual budget and development plans. This will make municipal governments more financially independent and reduce the burden of central government budget in supporting local developments. Moreover, since OJK Rule No. 10/2024 is addressing the issuance of sustainable municipal bonds/sukuk, it allows local governments to raise funds to supports their sustainable development focusing on implementing ESG and SDGs measures.
