Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS)’s Post

Recently, Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) held a Quarterly Leadership Meeting, which brought together DSS executive leadership and district management teams to assess the company’s performance and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. DSS President and COO Mario J. Doyle, CPP led the all-day event, which also sought to obtain feedback from DSS team members at all levels to develop innovative ideas that will make DSS a better company. The meeting featured presentations on district team operations, human resources issues, payroll and billing, corporate accounting and administration, and the newly expanded business development team and sales outreach efforts. “We hold these meetings because DSS leadership understands that our company’s greatest strength is our people,” Doyle noted. “And our frontline people and managers have the best understanding of what we do and how we can do it better.” The meeting sought to identify and develop ideas that are both innovative and practical with clearly defined benefits and that would produce a measurable and positive impact on DSS operations. DSS has experienced industry-leading growth over the past several years. The company now deploys more than 1,200 security professionals across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida, up from around 500 security professionals just three years ago. As in prior Quarterly Meetings, Joseph Fox a popular Executive Leadership Coach, who spent almost four decades with the New York City Police Department (NYPD), retiring as the Chief of the NYPD’s Transit Bureau in 2018, provided a motivational talk to the DSS Team. Fox discussed different "Styles of Leadership" and ways to balance leadership, personal relationships, and overall life goals. DSS quarterly meetings are designed to ensure that the company’s operations remain effective, efficient, and aligned with the organization’s strategic goals. They are a core element of DSS’ ongoing effort to always be building a better company, not just a bigger company.

Great move. Chief Fox is an good man. When I led Islip's Public Safety Department, he became a part of our leadership academy. His inspirational seminars leaves everyone in a better place.
