Wowie! It sure appears socialized single payer health scheme exemplars are fading into collapse, eh? It seems health care providers jump borders for better salary and benefits like Americans jump between states. Quite interesting article. It also appears automation or AI aren’t part of the patient care solutions. Would anybody like to post their thoughts? #healthcare #medicare #hospitals #physcians #nurses #careers

The more I connect with leadership contacts in the long term care space, the more I’m learning how prevalent the use of “gig” healthcare workers as 1099 is. What’s even more alarming is that it doesn’t seem to be a concern for some(yet), while other larger healthcare systems are starting to figure out the potential for increased risk of legal and liability woes. The “co-employer” risk that organizations need to be aware of, where said organization can be held liable for the actions of these “gig” workers they are managing, ranging from medical errors to failing to pay overtime wages. Wage and Hour Division is a great resource to nursing professionals if you believe you are not being treated properly. If you use a PRN app for work and are not receiving any overtime pay, or have a tax bill that you are having to deal with, you should submit a complaint. Below is a great article to learn more about this topic. #cnajobs #lpnjobs #rnjobs #longtermcare #independentcontractors #nursing #nursinghomes

Writing compelling email copy that leads healthcare companies to achieving their recruitment, client acquisition, and sales goals.
Question for nurses: Do you feel your employer takes more from you than they give? Do you feel like the constant requests (or demands) to work overtime, pick up shifts, or take on a larger patient load has left you feeling unappreciated and burnout? Is the first thing you do when you get home from work scrolling through job postings? You’re not alone. This study reveals that when 18,000 nurses in the United States were surveyed regarding job satisfaction, 30% of them stated that they were leaving not just their jobs, but the profession altogether. Even more concerning, this is up 7% since the height of the pandemic. https://lnkd.in/dSvkyHz2 Do you think there is anything that can be done to reverse this trend of nurses wanting to leave nursing entirely?
