Strengthening personal effectiveness? Expanding international thinking? Developing comprehensive thinking around business dynamics? 15 of our international talents just had the chance to do this! In the span of 12 months our promising young talents got the chance to develop and strengthen new skills by partaking in online sessions, on-site events and business simulations. Recently the 2023/24 program came to an end. To commemorate participants celebrated with an adventurous week in Bielefeld. During this week they got the opportunity to develop innovative solutions working on case studies and getting the chance to pitch them, shark tank style. Also, they got to participate in a pizza tasting and got to try out vegan recipes in the Dr. Oetker test kitchen. The most notable highlight was the Q&A session with Alexander Edelmann and Claudia Willvonseder, who are part of the executive board. The colleagues got an insight into their personal career steps, the company's strategy and future plans. We congratulate all the participants who grew a lot personally during the program. #Talents #LearningAndChange #DrOetker

🚀 Reflections after a conference on Generative AI with Malcolm Werchota 🚀 I attended the opening ceremony of the Consulting Academy thanks to eJoventut and Esade, where Malcolm introduced us to the world of generative AI. His talk highlighted how tools like ChatGPT can even surpass experienced consultants, significantly improving the quality and efficiency of our work. Sharing some key learnings from the presentation: 🛠️ Tools like ChatGPT speed up and enrich our processes, allowing for deeper and higher quality interpretations. 🧠 AI becomes a fundamental pillar for analysis and error correction, offering innovative solutions. It enables us to analyze from various viewpoints that we as humans don't have access to, enhancing our understanding and creativity in problem-solving. 🔍 With its ability to analyze large volumes of data, AI helps us overcome human limitations, particularly in terms of interpretation, which is crucial for evaluating KPIs and detecting outliers. This meeting has been a revelation in many aspects, showing me that we are just scratching the surface of what is possible with generative AI. The technology is not only a powerful tool for day-to-day use but also a strategic partner that, when used well, can take our projects and analysis to a completely new level. My key learnings from this talk focus on how we can leverage these tools to not only compete but lead in our field, providing innovative and effective solutions to the challenges we face as consultants in training. #ConsultingAcademy #Ejoventut #ESADE #GenerativeAI #Innovation
The time has come!! Finally, We’re thrilled to announce that our special guest for the Opening Consulting Academy is the singular Malcolm Werchota! We extend our sincerest appreciation! We are eager to listen to this phenomenal guest.

Senior Manager - Project & Infrastructure Advisory | Board Member | MBA Associate | MIT Sloan School of Management
🇺🇸 Day 8 of the MIT immersion. A day filled with excellent lectures and explosive energy drinks🧨 The morning started with Ben Shields with Sports Strategy and Analytics. When I read the title of Ben’s topic, I thought he would set us up to return to Brisbane and get the call up to jump into the coaching box to guide the Lions to victory (Go Lions! 🦁). Although I am sad this wasn’t the case, Ben eloquently linked how high performing teams in sport, driven by data, can translate to the business environment. 🏀 My key takeaways 🏀 To win consistently, high performing teams: - Harmonise management, talent, system, and culture - minimise dependence on luck. We need to break biases when looking to form a team: people are often overlooked for a variety of biased reasons and perceived flaws. Read/Watch: 🎥 Moneyball - will reaffirm breaking biases 📕 Thinking, Fast and Slow. ————————————————————————- We then heard from Nick van der Meulen from MIT CISR (MIT Center for Information Systems Research) on Pathways to Digital Business Transformation. Before hearing from Nick, I certainly didn’t appreciate the distinct two dimensions to digital business transformation: 1. Digitalisation: technology-enabled operational excellence 2. Digital business transformation: where businesses become “future ready”. To get to the stage of “future ready” and organisation can go through a number of transformation pathways which impact the customer experience, operational efficiency, or both. Regardless of the pathway, the following should be considered: 🎤 Transformations driven by heroics are neither scalable nor sustainable. Amplify your employees' voice to co-create a work environment that adapts to their needs ⭐️ Ordinary people in the right environment can achieve extraordinary results. Focus on enabling your existing workforce and enhancing it with capability-focused hires ⌚️ Digital is all about speed, but developing skills and habits takes time. Identify which capabilities your organisation will need to thrive; provide employees with ample opportunities to develop in these areas. 🍾 🍾 Drink review: If the explosive title doesn’t put you off, the taste will. Returning to the consistent “GSC” ☕️ tomorrow. 🍾🍾 #MITImmersion #QUTMBA Dr Catherine Batch Professor Sarah Kelly OAM Stu Krusell QUT (Queensland University of Technology) QUT Business School MIT Sloan School of Management BDO in Australia

What makes a business event successful? In my opinion, interesting guests. As someone said, "A good interlocutor is always a muse". The purpose of our round tables is not to transfer information from the speaker to the audience and back again, it is an intensive mutual exchange. We call this format business standup. When you gather leaders with a lot of business experience, everyone has something to share. I think we succeeded last Friday. Here are a few testimonials: CEO (International Industrial Equipment Manufacturer): "The event is necessary and well run" Sector Manager (Public Entity): "Thank you very much for the invitation! Hot topics, interesting speakers, good organization of the round table. Only positive impressions from the event!" Deputy General Director (International Agro-producer): "Your team has a great format of the event. Everything is just super: from the topics and speakers to the view from the window and desserts : - )" #landscapeischanging #vskuniversity #t.me/teamship

This week we had our 5th world wide seminar for our IT expert network. It was awesome (and I am not American so it means a lot when I am using this one). It's a good opportunity to look back on the last 5 years: - We started with 3 motivated people: Thierry Fraudet, Christine Massif and me. We now are 40 and I think we did not compromised too much on our expectations. - We now cover France, US, China & India and this week it was diverse. - Speaking of diversity, we still have to progress on women-men balance but the fight is somewhere else: help women embrace tech studies and jobs. - We are now recognised internally and I think we help showcase what's Michelin IS & Digital is doing to the world. - We cover a wide variety of expertise domains: software engineering, data & AI, operations & security and now digital marketing. But you know what makes me proud? Well two things. One is that we created a safe space where tech experts can share and debate without being scared. We have different expertises, opinions and believes and that's ok. I don't think it's that common these days but it's very cool and refreshing. The second is that I really think we are giving perspective to our tech people that don't want to become a manager. We love technology and that's all right. We won't stop there as we'll continue to grow by chasing the best experts. We'll keep trying to impact as much as we can to help Michelin mastering software and why not becoming a software company In the meantime, we'll have fun for sure. Strategy Advisor. Prof. Strategic Management. Senior Lecturer IESE Business School. Author. Keynote speaker. Partner at Sopho Factory. ExCEO Sara Lee Bakery Europe-Bimbo. ExVP PepsiCo Foods Spain.
“Myopia, being short-sighted” Good reflections with the AESE Business School PADE 53 group in Porto, on “seeing more” and avoiding myopia that can prevent us from seeing beyond our current situation by not detecting signs of change. I have really enjoyed the sessions learning from swedish companies, chocolate companies, ... how interesting the sessions become when the participants share their experiences. Let's do it more in companies, not just in business schools. It is not just about knowing a lot more about what we already know and successfully do, but about sharing experiences beyond our company that allow us to detect indications of where we can move forward. That is why interesting conversations with different people enrich us and provide so much value, so that we can add value. Playing global from Porto! 🌎😃
