Over the years, I have been approached by a number of people in order to get advice on how to build a career in customer success. The major obstacle for them had been that they were working in a different role. They had no clear path on how to move into a customer success role. Everytime I have advised them that they have to do their homework. They have to figure out how they will portray their current experience in the interviews. They have to be well read about CS and be prepared to answer questions related to that during the interviews. No one can help them better than themselves. There are multiple resources available on the internet which can help you in getting answers to every aspect related to customer success. You just need to dedicate some time out of your schedule and read that. It is as simple as that. Just a heads up for all the customer success people in Mumbai.
