It's fascinating how our genetic roots cross borders and seas, isn't it? I am Brazilian, but my DNA reveals a vibrant tapestry of heritages: 39.4% Iberian, bringing forth the history of Portugal and Spain; 13.2% Mesoamerican and Andean, speaking to the rich tapestry of pre-Columbian civilizations; 12.8% Greek and Southern Italian, reflecting waves of Mediterranean influence; 8.7% Italian, echoing historical ties to the Italian peninsula; And not to forget, 10% of my DNA hails from regions in Nigeria and Sierra Leone, adding to the rich diversity of my ancestry. Moreover, an intriguing 25.9% of my roots comprise six other ethnicities, demonstrating the complexity and diversity of my heritage. Where am I from? I am a citizen of Brazil, a land known for its diversity and warmth, and also, like you, a citizen of the world. We are all connected through a mosaic of genetic stories that make us unique and yet part of a global community. What about you? What's your story? #DNA #Ancestry #GlobalCitizen #CulturalHeritage #Diversity #GeneticTesting #WorldCitizen #Heritage #Brazil #IberianPeninsula #Mesoamerica #Andean #Mediterranean #ItalianHeritage #Nigeria #SierraLeone #AfricanRoots #GlobalCommunity #CitizenOfTheWorld #HumanGenetics #CulturalIdentity #FamilyHistory #Genetics #Roots #Identity #CulturalDiversity #AncestralRoots #GenomicEra #PersonalHistory #ConnectingCultures #GlobalFamily #Ethnicity

„Woher kommst du?“ wurde ich erst vor kurzem wieder gefragt. Als ich antwortete „Ich wurde in Hamburg geboren.“ wurde mir entgegnet, dass ich nicht wie ein Hamburger aussehe. Gestern hat Hamburg gezeigt, wie bunt Hamburg aussieht. Danke an euch alle. Danke an meine Perle, du wunderschöne Stadt. Für Demokratie, gegen Rassismus.
