Mongolia mineral potential is outstanding, but, excluding copper world-class deposits, Mongolia has NO other critical metals/minerals resources/reserves (Ni, Co, Li, graphite, etc). Road from the country "great potential" to the confident resources and reserves is long and bumpy. It requires time, major exploration efforts and investments, and Western Juniors' involvement, which for last 10-15 years is down to a few. This is the grim reality, rest is a wishful thinking!

A few weeks ago, U.S. Senators Marco Rubio of Florida and Mark Warner of Virginia unveiled bipartisan legislation titled the “Global Strategy for Securing Critical Minerals Act of 2024.” This bill aims to diminish China’s dominance by guaranteeing a secure, comprehensive supply of critical minerals for the U.S. and its global partners. The proposed legislation focuses on strengthening diplomatic and financial strategies to aid both public and private sectors in securing and processing these vital resources. It is crucial for the U.S. to reduce its dependence on critical minerals from China without delay. Supporting the proposed U.S. mines focused on critical mineral production—such as Twin Metals Minnesota LLC’s project, Resolution Copper’s proposed mine, and NewRange Copper Nickel’s NorthMet project— represent excellent initial steps.
