It’s getting more difficult to get the Whitakers and Stevensons together these days. Between kids, pets, work, and a 1.5 hour drive between us, we don’t get to see each other as often as we like. Luckily, we were able to meet up in San Clemente for a delicious dinner to celebrate Anna’s (Corey’s wife) birthday. Hopefully we won’t have to wait so long for our next double date! #onlinebusiness #businesspartners #onlineentrepreneurs

🍷 Cheers to Teamwork! 🍷 This Friday afternoon, as we join in the celebrations of Aussie Wine Month, we at Family Law Matters are reminded of the collaboration and camaraderie that make our team exceptional. It's a pleasure to unwind together, reflecting on our “wins for the week” and the positive impacts we’ve made on our clients' lives. 📸 Here’s a glimpse of our team enjoying a responsible, relaxing end to the week - a spot of white from Hungerford Hill in the Hunter Valley (and a bit of Ginger Beer too). A Moment for Mindfulness While we celebrate, we're also mindful of the challenges many face during life journeys like divorce. It’s not uncommon for people experiencing separation to turn to alcohol to soothe their distress. This Aussie Wine Month, we want to highlight the importance of approaching alcohol with care. Healthy Habits During Tough Times During times of stress, maintaining healthy habits is crucial. We encourage everyone—our clients, colleagues, and friends—to seek positive and constructive ways to cope. Whether through professional support, community activities, or personal wellness practices, it’s important to address emotional needs in a healthy and sustainable way. Join Our Supportive Team Looking for a supportive work environment that values personal growth and professional excellence? Consider joining Family Law Matters. Our commitment to look after our clients and each other sets us apart as a workplace. 👉 Interested in learning more about our practice and culture? Connect with us today! #AussieWineMonth #TeamCulture #FamilyLawMatters #HealthAndWellness #ResponsibleDrinking

Hey there – I’m Jennifer and I’m the owner of Wildflower Center for Counseling. I wanted to share that we are in the process of hiring more clinicians to join our team. The positions available include both in-person and virtual opportunities, with varying hourly expectations. While understanding the numbers are always important {productivity expectations, compensation, and everything in between}, I was hoping to take a moment to share what it would look like to become a part of the Wildflower team. When I decided to grow the Wildflower team back in 2019, one of the most important aspects for me was ensuring we created a work environment which aligned with certain core values. I had worked as a therapist in various locations prior where I ran into difficulties as I felt like management was disconnected from the day-to-day work of their staff – or I was continuously pushed to reach unrealistic productivity numbers – or I was on an island all alone without much clinical guidance or support. This was not the environment I wanted to create for my staff. In Wildflower’s Core Values, you can see that I discuss wanting to create a homelike atmosphere, a safe and welcoming environment, and a place where everyone is treated with honesty, respect, and empathy. While yes – most people would be correct in assuming that this was primarily directed towards our clients. However, this is also how I strive to treat my staff members. As of today, Wildflower is a team of 14 therapists. And I truly mean it when I say we are a team. We do work separately with our clients therapeutically, but we also lean on one another – whether needing to engage in case consultations or to take a moment to simply laugh together in between sessions. Wildflower provides group clinical meetings once a month, at which time case consultation can take place. We have also hosted voluntary team bonding events throughout time. In the past these events included building terrariums at Plant House and taking a sailing cruise around the harbor. While Wildflower has a clinically strong team, we also have an amazing group of individuals. I’ve occasionally wondered if I’m simply biased about my team. And I’ll admit, I probably am. I have seen how hard they work, how dedicated they are to their clients, and what amazing human beings they are. So yep – I LOVE to brag about them. Wildflower would not be what it is without them. If you are uncertain about the environment, come by and visit – and you will have a chance to glimpse the team I am fortunate to work alongside every day. So, as I mentioned at the beginning of this novel, we are looking to hire a couple of additional clinicians to join this team. I’ll run through a few of the nitty gritty details in the comment section – but if you have further questions on anything please feel free to either private message me or email me at jhigley@wildflowercfc.com

Everyone Meet our Star Pet Lilly! She is furbaby of Debra Baker with GrowthPlay. Here is he link to her profile on our Howl of Fame! https://lnkd.in/g6wcphEP Lilly embodies the three principles of Dog Treats as an Act of Service. Principle #1: She has a genuine desire to build authentic relationships with all the neighbors (who have dog treats). Principle #2: She is other-centered in her approach (for every treat, she is happy to sit, hug, lick or otherwise gaze at you with her big brown eyes). Principle #3: She is disciplined and intentional in her approach (she knows who, where ,and at what time her neighbors are open to treat giving). Her treat-oriented value system, generous approach, and relentless commitment to treat receiving make her a dog worthy of this recognition.

🐾 We're fetching your feedback! We need your help in shaping our dog-friendly spaces! 🐶 In 2023, we adopted our Dogs in Public Places Policy after listening to over 770 voices from our community. 🗣️ This Policy provides a consistent approach to assessing areas where dogs can roam leash-free (with their owners present and under effective control) and where they should be on a leash or prohibited. Now, it's time for a review! 📃 Share your thoughts on leash-free and dog-prohibited areas to be included in our review. Your feedback has a paw-sitive impact on our community's well-being and environment.
