A forecasting model built by researchers from the University of Liverpool Management School predicts match results based on the quality of individual players and how they are likely to interact on the pitch. Thanks to this model, we can predict that England are second favourites to win Euro 2024, just behind their old rivals Germany, with a 22% probability of lifting the cup!
