Pellet therapy has grown steadily since the release of the Women's Health Initiative in 2002. Two decades have passed when clinicians in training and practice had no education at all on the safety and efficacy of FDA-approved hormone replacement therapy. This is nothing short of a public health crisis as more and more women turn to dangerous and unregulated treatments because of the lack of training. . This article sheds light on how much harm has been done to women when clinicians are untrained in the management of perimenopause and menopause and highlights the career-changing course that I created in 2023 "How to prescribe and Manage Hormone Therapy with Ease and Confidence," now with hundreds of satisfied and transformed MD's, DO's, NPs, PA's and pharmacists! . If you are a clinician you have inevitably cared for women with out-of-nowhere dyslipidemia, elevated testosterone, acne, and hair loss and they are not telling you they are getting these treatments. CEO/ Founder of Midi Health, revolutionizing healthcare for women at midlife - to relieve their symptoms and support their wellbeing.
68-87% of women going through menopause deal with sexual difficulties. That's a lot of us! But here's some good news: researchers at McMaster University have been digging into this, and they found something pretty cool. Turns out, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can really help women who are suffering. From their research they found that women who tried it reported feeling more confident, communicating better with their partners, and even rediscovering the joy in intimacy. I'm loving this for a couple of reasons: We're finally listening to women and realizing there's no one-size-fits-all solution. In short, the more we learn, the more normal these conversations become. At Midi Health, we're all about making sure you feel seen and heard. We know every woman's journey is unique, so why shouldn't her treatment plan be? Whether it's hormone therapy, CBT, or a mix of things, it's all about finding what works for you. As we keep learning more about menopause, I'm hopeful that more and more women find treatments that really work for them.

Understanding the Decline in Testosterone Levels Across Generations: Impacts, Causes and Solutions Testosterone decline is becoming a widespread issue among men of all ages, while women face unique hormonal shifts, often linked to PCOS and menopause. These changes are influenced by factors such as lifestyle, environmental exposures, and chronic stress, leading to broader health implications. Understanding the causes and adopting strategies like diet, exercise, and medical interventions can help maintain hormonal balance and improve overall well-being. Understanding these trends is critical for both clinical practice and public health. Testosterone is not just about sexual health; it plays a central role in maintaining muscle mass, bone density, mood, and overall energy levels. Its decline can have wide-ranging consequences, including impacts on fertility, cardiovascular and metabolic health, and mental well-being. Additionally, it is essential for cardiovascular health, with its reduction potentially increasing the risk of conditions like Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. In women, shifts in testosterone can influence reproductive health, metabolic conditions, and physical changes such as hair growth patterns and muscle mass. https://lnkd.in/grfvJDgq #HormonalHealth #TestosteroneManagement #EndocrineDisruptors #HealthAndWellness #AgingWell #SanMiguelDeAllende #RetireMexico #AffordableAssistedLiving #MexicoCaregiving #DementiaCare #MemoryCare #AlzheimersCare #AssistedLiving #IndependentLiving #SeniorLivingMexico #HospiceCare #PalliativeCare #ContinuousCare #MedicalResearch

Research has shown that women are three times more likely than men to experience migraines. These migraines are often more intense and last longer, leading to more severe and prolonged symptoms. As a result, migraines are a leading cause of disability among women under 50. This neurological disorder is typically marked by severe headaches, nausea, vomiting, and heightened sensitivity to light and sound. Anne MacGregor, a headache and women's health expert, emphasizes the widespread nature of migraines, particularly among women. Despite the availability of various treatments, migraines lead to the highest number of disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) for women aged 15 to 49. The gap in migraine incidence between girls and boys increases from puberty into their mid-thirties and continues into later life, creating a more pronounced difference by their mid-thirties. #Health #Migraines #Womenshealth #PublicHealth
