Founder @ Institute for Functional Podiatric Medicine | D.P.M.

Have you been thinking a lot about changing things in your practice? PODIATRISTS. Have you been really unhappy but JUST CAN'T FIND THE TIME to make things happen? Are you so overwhelmed with high patient volume and administrative burdens that you haven't done anything? Literally nothing? Not doing anything cannot change anything. In fact, you are unwittingly cooperating with and supporting a system that is harming you! Think about that. Change requires that you DO SOMETHING. That means you must find the time to implement change that WILL SERVE YOUR NEEDS, YOUR DESIRES, AND YOUR ASPIRATIONS. If you don't think you have the time, you will run out of time. You are not stuck in a void. You have the power to do something. And here is what you can do: CREATE A PRACTICE THAT IS COMPLETELY FREE FROM INSURANCE-DEPENDENCY POWERED BY A POTENT PARADIGM CALLED FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE AND THE LIVES OF YOUR PATIENTS FOR THE BETTER. Stop using the excuse that "your patients will never pay you". That is just fear talking. I give you the education in functional medicine and the way to attract those patients who WILL PAY YOU for your exceptional skills and services. "Stop using the excuse that "your patients will never pay you". That is just fear talking." 💯  People pay gobs of money to their health insurance companies year after year, and something tells me they don't have great feelings about those companies, but does that stop them from paying? Our mindsets around the value of what we provide and the willingness of people to be willing to pay for a quality product and experience are so distorted. Thankfully, they are also easy to change with just a few perspective shifts and insights.

Dr. Robert Kornfeld. Kornfeld, your call for transformation and self-empowerment in podiatry practices through functional medicine is truly inspiring! 🌟 It seems that breaking free from insurance-dependency would indeed allow for more specialized and patient-centric care. I'm curious, in your experience, what are the initial challenges practitioners face when transitioning to a functional medicine model, and how can one mitigate them effectively to ensure a smooth transition and sustainable practice? Looking forward to learning more and exploring solutions together!

In general, people do not like change. We need to embrace change and help create our future.

Great cartoon and message, Dr. Robert Kornfeld. It's true. You can feel like you're so inundated with all the things that you don't take time for the most important ones. Prioritizing and making space for ourselves is essential.

Dr. Robert Kornfeld you are right. Fear is the biggest deterrent to change. It takes courage to face that fear and pursue change. Knowledge about what is available to you can be one way of overcoming fear and you are providing the knowledge and the tools.
