Although pathogen research can help the world prepare for future pandemics, working with the variola virus that causes #smallpox raises the risk of accidental or intentional reemergence. The world needs improved medical countermeasures to be ready if the variola virus resurfaces. At SIGA, we are dedicated to protecting individuals and communities against #infectiousdiseases.
