As someone who lives with and diagnoses' autism often field a number of questions around the validity of self-diagnosis, diagnosis as a practice, and what is and is not autism. So to give those of you who are wondering a sense of what a diagnostician is up against when making a diagnosis I wrote up an article. It captures some of the nuance and complexity what it takes to actually make a diagnosis, and might be a decent concurrent lens to look at self-diagnosis through. Enjoy! https://lnkd.in/gp-reZqP
