#Oleander #Poisoning #Toxicology #EmergencyMedicine #EM_Diaries A 31-year-old female presented to ED with #vomiting and #lightheadedness after 15 hours after ingestion of common #oleander aqueous leaf extract (10-20 #leaves). Some village person had prescribed it for some medical issue. On initial examination,#BP was 122/80 mmHg with #irregular #pulse of 46/min. She was looking #toxic due to excessive vomiting. #Electrocardiogram revealed second degree type 2 #Heart_Block (#video). The patient was given intravenous #atropine sulfate 0.6 mg twice a day and tablet #orciprenaline 10 mg three times a day. Symptoms improved and was admitted in Medical #ICU.
