Good morning, As we welcome the light of this new day, let's embrace the promise that God's glory will fill the earth as surely as the waters cover the sea. May this assurance inspire us to look for signs of His presence in everything around us, from the smallest act of kindness to the most majestic sunset.   In the midst of life's turbulence, the promise in Habakkuk 2:14 stands as a lighthouse on a stormy sea. It's a divine assurance that God's glory, His essence, and His truth will one day envelop the earth as effortlessly and completely as waters cover the sea. This vision isn't just about the future; it's a call to action for us today. Imagine a world saturated with the knowledge of the Lord's glory—where every heart and mind is illuminated by His love and grace. This prophecy beckons us to be vessels of His light, actively participating in spreading His glory through acts of love, kindness, and justice. As we reflect on this promise, let's consider our role in this divine narrative. We're invited not just to witness but to contribute to the spreading of God's glory. Each act of compassion, every word of truth we speak, and our steadfast faith in the face of adversity add threads to the tapestry of His unfolding glory on earth. SCRIPTURE TO GO: Jan. 12, 2024 "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." (Colossians 3:15) That first line is a whopper. If we emphasize various words each time we say it, we understand how important it is to let ONLY peace to rule our hearts. Our environments, dramas and joys/troubles so often lead our hearts around on their leashes, and lead us to unknown destinations. But if we allow ONLY peace to rule our hearts, we would be so much heathier physically, emotionally, spiritually and in every other way. New year, new habits.

Jesus Calling: Let thankfulness rule in your heart. As you thank Me for blessings in your life, a marvelous thing happens. It is as if scales fall off your eyes, enabling you to see more and more of My glorious riches. With your eyes thus opened, you can help yourself to whatever you need from My treasure house. Each time you receive one of My golden gifts, let your thankfulness sing out praises to My Name. "Hallelujahs" are the language of heaven, and they can become the language of your heart. A life of praise and thankfulness becomes a life filled with miracles. Instead of trying to be in control, you focus on Me and what I am doing. This is the power of praise: centering your entire being in Me. This is how I created you to live, for I made you in My own image. Enjoy the abundant life by overflowing with praise and thankfulness. This is a powerful message that emphasizes the importance of perseverance and consistency in doing good.
