Team GB play it safe with Olympics Paris 2024 kit As we approach the much-anticipated Paris 2024 Olympics, Team Great Britain is making headlines with their newly unveiled Olympic and Paralympic kits. After navigating through some bold past designs, Team GB is returning to it’s roots with a classic, conservative look that pays homage to the traditional red, white, and blue. 🔵 The striking navy backdrop of the official kits offers a fresh yet familiar canvas that highlights the Union flag. This choice marks a subtle shift from the previously white-based competition kits, adding a layer of sophistication and unity. 🥇 On the podium, our athletes will shine in white-based tracksuits adorned with the Union flag on the arm, a design choice that Adidas says will allow the medals to truly stand out, embodying a "clean radiant look." 👕 The kits feature a typeface inspired by the historic 1924 Paris Games, enhancing the connection between past and present. Adidas promises that this design not only respects tradition but injects a dash of modernity to connect with new generations of fans. 🦁 Highlighting the spirit of Team GB, the kits proudly display striking white lion head graphics, representing the fierce and proud nature of our athletes as they represent our nation on the world stage. What are your thoughts on the new kits? https://lnkd.in/dbVMft_t #TeamGB hashtag #Paris2024 hashtag #brand

Another women's kit after-thought.... This weekend's champions league final in Bilbao had 50,827 fans watch Barcelona's thrilling 2-0 win over Lyon. Showcasing the best of women's sport. Alexia Putellas came off the bench to secure the win, before mirroring the celebrations of Brandi Chastain in '99 and Chloe Kelly in '22. Putellas can be seen wearing two compression type garments on her upper half. One is of course her sports bra, but the second a vest worn to house her GPS device from Wimu. Women at the very top of the game are wearing three layers of clothing, where two could easily achieved. So, why are the top manufacturers not integrating GPS technology into their Sports Bras for their players? Or if they are, why are the players not using it? Are manufacturers still playing catch up to the needs of elite Women's sport? Recently, MAAREE presented our sports bras (which include a GPS pouch) to a top side in Europe, followed by a kit presentation by a leading sportswear manufacturer. When no sports bras were presented in the collection, and questioned by the club, the manufacturer stated 'we did not realise you would require sports bras.' At elite level sport, significant time and resource is spent looking for the 1% marginal gains, when in women's sport, so many of the basic wins are still being overlooked. #womenssport #supportingwomen #smallbusiness #sportsbras #championsleaguefinal

Did you know that uniforms were once quite controversial in sports? In the early 20th century, tennis players had to wear full-length trousers and long-sleeved shirts, even in scorching summer temperatures! This sparked heated debates until players like René Lacoste introduced the iconic tennis polo shirt in the 1920s, which completely changed sports attire forever. Today, sports uniforms are not only about performance but also about comfort and style, enabling athletes to perform at their best while looking their finest on the court or field. Whether it's Wimbledon or the World Cup, uniforms continue to evolve, seamlessly blending tradition with modern trends in sports fashion. #Uniforms #UniformSupplier #WorkWear #GoldCoastBusiness #GoldCoast #UniformFunFact #HistoryInStyle
