I just completed Electronic Arts's Software Engineering on Forage. In the simulation I: -Proposed a new feature for the Sims 4 and wrote a Feature Proposal describing it to other stakeholders. -Built a class diagram and created a header file in C++ with class definitions for each object. -Patched a bugfix and optimized the Sims 4 codebase by implementing an improved data structure.

🎉 Day 115 of the CP Challenge! 🚀💡 Today, on Day 115 of our 150-day CP challenge, let's dive into an intriguing problem titled "WOW Factor"! 🛠️ Approach: 1️⃣ Initialize counters to keep track of "vv" pairs before and after each "o". 2️⃣ Iterate through the string and count "vv" pairs up to each position. 3️⃣ As we encounter each "o", calculate the contribution to the wow factor using previously counted "vv" pairs. 4️⃣ Sum up all contributions to get the total wow factor of the string. Link to the problem is in the comment section mentioned below ⬇ Let's keep the momentum going and solve more problems every day! 🚀 #CompetitiveProgramming #Codeforces #Cfbr

🎉 Day 125 of the CP Challenge! 🚀💡 Today, on Day 125 of our 150-day CP challenge, we're tackling a problem titled "Powered Addition"! 💡 Approach: 1️⃣ Identify Discrepancies: Determine the maximum difference where the array is not non-decreasing. 2️⃣ Logarithmic Steps: Compute the minimum number of seconds T needed to make the array non-decreasing using logarithmic operations based on the maximum difference. 3️⃣ Efficient Calculation: Implement the solution to handle multiple test cases efficiently. The link to the problem is in the comment section mentioned below ⬇ Let's keep pushing forward and tackling these challenges! 🚀 #CompetitiveProgramming #Codeforces #Consistency #Motivation #Cfbr

GPU Poor? **Friends** is all you need. I built a distributed training module from scratch that performs model training over a cluster of M-series macs connected over the same network. This was inspired by Hussein Nasser's work, Isaac Vidas's Merlin article and Maxime Labonne's spirit. Drop a comment if I should make a tutorial, the more people working on MLE / distributed systems, the merrier!

I'm happy to announce the upcoming #040coders event. This time our traveling mini conference visits Holst Centre Where we have two great TechTalks: @Andre van Splunter may start a battle. He compares Ada, an older language, safe by design & sanctioned by the DoD, with the language of reference, C/C++, naughty and unsafe, and Rust. This upcoming language with the desire to replace C++ is better and safer. But, is it? Or is Ada still safer? We will learn! Also Serkan Sahin chooses his battles. He finds failures every single day, some over and over again. His fight is to improve: Fix the bug and learn -- never make that kind of mistake again. Sometimes, the root cause is technical, and sometimes it's more complicated. Luckily, he has many real-world examples which he likes to share. Again, it will be fun and educational! And as always, we have an #UncleBob video, free food and drinks. Hope to see you all! https://lnkd.in/ePu-RS-D
