Cayuse developed a data monetization strategy to provide customers with access to their application usage data via a data-share program and needed a conformed data model that could scale across their hundreds of customers. Each customer had a unique application configuration which made every data schema different, therefore adding significant complexity to the challenge of creating a conformed data model. Data Clymer successfully implemented a multi-tenant snowflake architecture combined with dbt Labs to build external facing data models complete with robust governance and security policies, thereby enabling Cayuse to monetize their data sharing program. #datamonetization #matillion #moderndatastack

DuckDB v1.1.0 shipped a hidden gem for benchmark enthusiasts: the built-in TPC-H data generator is now multi-threaded, so you can now generate huge TPC-H data sets on a single machine with reasonable runtimes. We updated our documentation with estimates on this. Note that the TPC-H generator also supports breaking up the data generation process into multiple steps to limit memory use.
