STRONG FINISH TO A CHALLENGING NIGHT FOR TEAM 54… 💪🏼🏁 The Perth Motorplex’s Powepalooza events are always an absolute blockbuster, with Drag demonstrations, Burnouts, Speedway, Freestyle Motocross and a MONSTER fireworks spectacular. This years event was no exception, attracting a HUGE crowd, in fact it was the second largest ever for the opening night of the race season! Heat 1, the team were confident of a strong result, starting P3. The track was a ‘hammer down’ lightening fast race track, which usually suits Dave and the 54 Holdfast Rocket. Unfortunately it wasn’t to be, with Dave struggling with the handling of the car, slipping back to a disappointing 7th place finish. The team worked feverishly between races to improve the handling of the car, improving in Heat 2, advancing from P8 to P5. Feature race time... The team were going to have to pull a rabbit out of a hat to get a strong result in a strong field of 21 competitive teams. Starting from P12 we had a bit of work to do on one one of the fastest tracks we’ve seen for a while. Quickly stamping his mark, Dave advanced from 12th to 9th place within the first 6 laps, settling in until pouncing again on lap 23 and lap 27 to finish in a strong 7th place. Dave said after the race “that was one of the most physical races I’ve had for a long time! Finals Series, new race and qualifying formats, and new tyres headline 2025 shake-up

Michael Phelps is the most decorated Olympian in our history with 28 medals🎖 Before each race he does the following: -Eats a race day breakfast of eggs, oatmeal, and 4 energy shakes. -A systematic targeted stretching routine at the pool focusing on different muscle groups. -Swims 2000+ meters to get warmed up🏊 -Puts on his racing suit. -Listens to hip hop music to get amped🎧 -Stretches behind the blocks before his race. -DOMINATES It's the same routine EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Why is this important? This strategy PRIMES his mind to focus. His races are won BEFORE he even gets to the pool. You may not be a swimmer. That's ok. Priming applies to EVERYTHING. What's the "big race" you are looking to win? Perhaps it's a cold calling session. If you want to CRUSH your phone session, how are you PRIMING your mind before you even pick the phone up? Here are a few easy tips: 1. Eat a proper breakfast-being hungry while dialing SUCKS. 2. Roleplay 10X with a peer your first few dials! Get warmed up. 3. Stretch/move to get the blood flowing before you dial. The point is that if you want to be the "Michael Phelps" of Sales, it starts with PRIMING your mind! What else would you add? P.S.
