New article! In our latest article in the Special Issue of the Indian Journal of Medical Research on Implementation Research, we highlight the perceptions and practices of remote rural and tribal communities in Maharashtra and Odisha regarding snakebite envenomation. We document various cultural practices, myths and beliefs of people for the prevention and first aid of snakebite. We provide crucial insights for reducing the snakebite burden via the Barrier to Prevention and Barrier to Management frameworks that could be used by researchers in all high burden regions globally to design snakebite control strategies.
