Words can’t describe how thrilled I am, to be teaching such powerful healing method in my upcoming retreat! I am honoured to have been in the 4th cohort of the training program of Embodied Intelligence, grounded in 20 years of research that combines Embodied Cognitive Neuroscience, Polyvagal Theory, Phonology, Dynamical Systems Theory, Personality Theory, and Developmental Ego Psychology. ALSO: 👉🏽 If you have been attending talk therapy for a while (more than a year), trauma-informed and/or somatic coaching, but still have difficultily in various areas of your life… this new method offers what you need to re-pattern your nervous system while relating to others (we are social beings!). I am still in awe about the healing benefits of it. I hold profound reverence towards its founder.

I have spent a lot of time thinking about thinking — about its nature, its relationship to free speech, and its relationship to conflict and disagreement. People will avoid thinking because it is difficult. Thinking is technically complex, demanding, and emotionally challenging. If you already abide by a certain principle, and then you spend time thinking, even in your own imagination, you start to shake the foundation. That exposes you to cognitive entropy which produces anxiety, a theory that has been very well documented in neuroscience literature. #quoteoftheday #reflection -Jordan Peterson

How to Regulate Your Emotions We’re emotional beings first, rational beings second. Emotions dictate how we react to situations, decide where to focus our attention, and decipher information. Neuroscience has proven that emotions significantly influence our cognitive functions, including the decision-making and problem-solving skills that impact our learning experiences. #motivation #humanresources #personaldevelopment

We start with a series of super short videos on neuroscience and leadership. First stop : stress.
1-min video on the impact of stress on the brain and what to do about it (yes, all that in just 1 min ;) ). If you have questions on leadership and neuroscience I'll be happy to look for relevant research and if possible attempt to answer. Neuroscience reveals that human behavior is complex and unpredictable, making communication for awareness and change challenging. An effective approach is to focus on motivation, a predictable biological factor, and recognize that 95% of our decisions are unconscious. How do you think we can use this to motivate people? 👇🎥 #Neuromarketing #PositiveChanges #EnvironmentalProtection

Dr. Dan is back with more Monday Morning Motivation! Folks you are going to love these if you have not been keeping up with my forwards on this. Dr. Dan brings common sense back to connectivity and community. His tips are things we know but maybe aren't intentional about. You have probably heard the saying, "what is common sense isn't always common practice..." I believe that to be true, mainly because we allow our time to be stolen by a lack of intentionality! The best way to get this back into your daily "habit loop," is to find an accountability partner to whom you give permission to hold you accountable. I am not going to say it will be fun and easy... it won't! But we make our most significant personal and professional gains during our seasons of discomfort! So what is holding you back?
Welcome back to Monday Morning Motivation with Dr. Dan! Do you still have goals you'd like to set for the New Year? Here are a few practical steps to make those dreams a reality! #DreamBigDreamOften [ neuroscience, motivation, communication ]

Forget the old saying “practice makes perfect” it’s outdated. Catch up with the new evidence in neuroscience! When we repeat anything (a thought, a feeling, a behaviour) we train our brain to make shortcuts to repeat it. We automate it. This can be negative (like having a habit we want to quit) or positive (like having a habit that benefits us) Think about practice as evidence for your brain that you want something automated. Your brain will listen. #MentalPerformance #AthleteMindset #SportsPsychology #PeakPerformance #AthleteDevelopment #EliteAthletes #MentalTraining #HighPerformanceAthlete #ExecutiveCoaching #LeadershipMindset #MentalResilience #HighPerformanceCulture #CognitiveLeadership #ExecutiveMindset #MindfulLeadership #PerformanceCoaching #MentalToughness #PerformancePsychology #MindsetMatters #SuccessMindset #MindsetCoach

Fear = Fear No matter the situation, your body interprets and feels fear the same way. Getting attacked by a sabertooth tiger? Fear. Delivering a speech in front of an audience? Same kind of fear. Recognizing that is the first step to managing and overcoming your fear of public speaking. Want to learn more?
