As the year winds down, it’s easy to get caught up in the pressure to create something “grand.” Extravagant gifts, perfectly curated parties, and big moments often steal the spotlight. But in reality, the most meaningful moments are often the simplest ones. Recently, our team came together for a small holiday brunch and cookie baking session. No elaborate decor. No over-the-top production. Just good food, good conversation, and the chance to connect as people. It was a reminder that what we cherish most isn’t the price of the gift or the size of the gathering—it’s the people we share it with. The holidays don’t have to be picture-perfect to be meaningful. Sometimes, the best memories are made over flour-covered countertops, shared laughter, and the warmth of simply being present. So, as you wrap up your year (and maybe some gifts too), we encourage you to lean into the simple joys. Spend time with those who matter most, cherish the moments that don’t make it on social media, and remember that joy isn’t measured by extravagance—it’s measured by connection. #HolidaySeason #Gratitude #EventProfs #MeetingProfs #InfinixGlobal

Why Does Christmas Dinner Cause So Much Stress? Something I’ve never understood is why people get so stressed about making Christmas dinner. Personally, I actually enjoy it! I don’t spend all day in the kitchen, and yes, before anyone says it it’s not because I cut corners. I make everything from scratch, but it still doesn’t take me all day. I’ve been thinking about this, and I wonder if it’s because we put so much pressure on ourselves for everything to be perfect. We think that if something goes wrong, it will ruin Christmas. But here’s the thing perfection isn’t real, and it doesn’t matter. Having sight loss has taught me that. Things might not turn out exactly as planned, but does that really make a difference in the bigger picture? Christmas is about being together and making memories, not about everything being flawless. What do you think? Do we put too much pressure on ourselves to make Christmas perfect? Photo Description: A warm and inviting Christmas kitchen scene featuring a rustic wooden table beautifully set with homemade dishes. The table is adorned with a roast dinner, fresh vegetables, and festive desserts, creating a cozy and wholesome atmosphere. Soft golden lighting enhances the warm tones of the room, and a small Christmas tree decorated with simple ornaments sits in the background, alongside a garland draped over a shelf. The setting feels calm and joyful, reflecting the simple pleasures of Christmas without the stress of perfection. #ChristmasDinner #ChristmasStress #CookingWithSightLoss #LifeLessons #ChangingPerspective #FestiveReflection #LivingMyLifeMyWay

A private candle lit dinner for 2 under the stars? Yes please 🌟 I recently booked a trip to South Africa 🤩 and on the advice of a friend, a safari and guided game drive to see the big 5 is a must. So along the garden route, we booked a night at an amazing safari hotel - inclusive of breakfast and dinner and a sunrise and sunset game drive. After booking, I recieved my email confirmation and a very clever upsell. 💫The option to add on ‘Private Dining Beneath The Stars’ - “Perfect for any couple who want to share the most memorable moments together” Did we need it considering dinner was included? Absolutely not. But did we book it - absolutely yes 🙌🏼 —— 💭 I feel like upselling is so underutilised by ecom brands. It’s such a great way to increase AOV but it also gives your customers an experience - one that they will likely remember. Sure, it might not be a candle lit dinner, but instead of just a book, you could sell a relaxation bundle - inclusive of a candle and bubble bath 🛀 Sell an experience, rather than just a product - that’s what makes a brand memorable and keeps a customer loyal. And this is exactly what I’m doing with my clients ahead of Valentine’s Day ♥️ P.S tips for South Africa welcomed in the comments below 👇🏼

Last Christmas Eve taught me a memorable lesson. I thought I could handle everything myself. Big mistake. With 12 guests coming for dinner, I insisted on: → Cooking all dishes alone → Decorating the dining area → Wrapping presents last minute → Managing the timeline solo By 5 PM: • Turkey was still frozen • Half the decorations fell down • Presents remained unwrapped • And I had an anxiety attack My pride nearly ruined Christmas. But something beautiful happened: ✅ My mother took over the kitchen ✅ Cousins became decoration experts ✅ My uncle brought extra dishes The result? Best Christmas dinner we've had. Not because everything was perfect. But because we created it together. I learned: → Asking for help isn't weakness → Control isn't always strength Now I know that the best memories come from shared moments, not solo performances. What holiday disaster turned into an unexpected blessing for you? Share your story below. 👇
