Despite its 101 proof–a feistier number in tequila than in bourbon–it drinks nicely, and is quite supple, allowing more extended sipping. Have some dried spicy mango around to enjoy with this. Mexican desserts would be a plus.

This National Pretzel Day, Pair Pretzels With the Right Drinks to Celebrate If pretzels are your go-to snack, National Pretzel Day is sure to be your favorite holiday. Whether you like yours with extra salt or covered in chocolate, every pretzel needs the right beverage to become even more delicious! Here are our top suggestions for drink pairings to enjoy with this knot-shaped pastry on National Pretzel Day. Alcoholic Beverages Beer: IPA and brown ale are your go-to options in beers. A mug of beer is anyway a classic pretzel pairing, but beer is also very good with cheese pretzels. Wine: You’re probably bringing broken pretzels to a pretzel party. If so, you want to make sure to pour enough glasses of Chardonnay. The wine’s oaky and buttery flavors are a match made in heaven for the salty, crunchy broken bits. Bloody Mary: This tangy drink and its bold flavors are a match made in food heaven for those extra salty pretzels we all like. Non-Alcoholic Beverages Cold Brew Coffee: If you’ve never tried whole wheat pretzels with a cold brew before, you’re missing out. The cool drink and sweet snack make a refreshing treat on any given day. Virgin Mojito: For those who prefer more subtle flavors like those of low-sodium pretzels, the minty virgin mojito is an ideal choice. #NationalPretzelDay #PretzelPairings #PretzelLove #PretzelObsessed #PretzelParty #PretzelSnacks #DrinkAndPretzels #PretzelDayPairings #SnackAndSip #PretzelLover #PretzelPerfection #SaltySnacks #DrinkPairingIdeas #TastyTreats

A.m.f (Adios Mother * Censored*) 🤫 While the adios motherfucker (also called the adios motherf*cker or AMF, if you’re being polite) doesn’t look all that manly, it certainly has a masculine name. You really need to be confident to walk up to a bartender and order an “Adios motherfucker” without flinching. The drink itself is a riff on the Long Island Iced Tea, which also makes it very potent. Seriously. There are five types of alcohol in the mix, including vodka, rum, tequila, gin, and blue curacao. The recipe includes sweet and sour mix too, along with Sprite to top it up. Directions ✔️ Fill a pint with ice. ✔️ Add vodka, gin, rum, tequila, curacao, sour and 7UP. ✔️ Stir with a straw, garnish with lemon, lime and cherry. Serve. Ingredients Units: US 3⁄4 ounce vodka 3⁄4 ounce gin 3⁄4 ounce light rum 3⁄4 ounce tequila 3⁄4 ounce blue curacao 2 ounces sour mix 1⁄2 ounce carbonated lemon-lime beverage (7-Up) 1 lemon wedge 1 lime wedge 1 maraschino cherry #GriselVargas #MasterProfiler #BebidasEspirituosas #CataDeBebidas #PerfilDeSabor #AromasYSabores #ArteDeLaDestilación #ExperienciaSensorial #Cocktail #CulturaDeBebidas

Friday has finally arrived! In our books, a weekend isn’t complete without something lovely to sip on – with or without alcohol. We know many of you are trying out a dry or damp January this year. And while mocktail recipes abound, we also love a good low-ABV option! Why not try one of these sensational wine-based cocktails on for size? ⭐ Porto tonico: this Portuguese classic combines dry white port and refreshing tonic in a 1-2 ratio, making it a perfect light sip! ⭐ Vermouth and soda: sweet red vermouth sparkles when combined with soda, for an unexpectedly complex taste that couldn’t be simpler to make! Garnish with the citrus of your choice, or even an olive. ⭐ Mimosas, etc: this brunch favourite features orange juice and sparkling wine. Try subbing fresh pressed apple cider for a wintry twist! Or take a taste of summer with a Bellini, which uses peach puree in place of the juice. ⭐ Aperol spritz: the unofficial drink of summer has equal parts Prosecco and Aperol, plus a splash of soda... but you can tweak the proportions to suit your needs. ⭐ Amaro highball: this one might be a stretch, but since Amaro is made from Brandy, which is often made from distilled wine… we’ll allow it! Technicalities aside - a splash of amaro combined with tonic or soda makes for a delightfully herbal, pleasantly bitter aperitivo. 🍇 🍇 🍇 Have you tried any of these low-ABV wine cocktails? Or do you have a favourite of your own? Let us know in the comments!

A Special Drink to Keep You Cool: Bourbon Peach Smash If you are like us and have access to some good GA peaches and the need to cool off, here's a happy hour recipe that will leave you feeling just peachy. Ingredients 1/2 to 1 ounce brown sugar simple syrup 1/2 large peach , diced (about 1/2 cup) 3-4 large mint leaves 2 ounces bourbon splash ginger beer (preferred) or seltzer water , chilled ice fresh mint and peach slices , for garnish Instructions Add peaches, mint leaves, and simple syrup to the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Gently muddle to release the peach juices and mint oils. (Over-muddling the mint will cause it to become bitter.) Add bourbon, fill the shaker with ice, and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Top with ginger beer or seltzer water. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and a peach slice. Cheers!
