Life means community! We can now proudly look back on 12 years of cooperation with the DIAKONIEWERKSTÄTTEN Rhein-Neckar of the Gemeindediakonie Mannheim. Around 170 employees work here on a wide range of tasks. With the help of the unique dual leadership of a technical and a pedagogical manager, particular emphasis is placed on technical implementation, integration assistance and pedagogical support. Our Managing Director Oliver Niemann had the opportunity to visit the factory in Vogelstang and was able to feel how fulfilled the employees are by their work. We are grateful for this partnership and look forward to continuing our collaboration. 👉 More information can be found here: https://ow.ly/LSZR50Soe9Q #GoodCollaboration #WorkingwithPeoplewithDisabilities #DriveDeVilbiss

Last week, civil society leaders and public officials from across Peru’s Moquegua region participated in the workshop “Inclusive Leadership,” as part of the #MoqueguaCrece initiative’s institutional strengthening component, implemented in partnership with the Government of Japan and Instituto de Estudios Peruanos. The project seeks to build the capacity of local leaders to monitor public investment, and to facilitate effective dialogue mechanisms between leaders and authorities. The workshop aimed to equip participants with knowledge and skills to better integrate diverse community needs into their work on Moquegua’s regional and local development. Topics included diversity, inclusion, the importance of gender-disaggregated data, and strategies for inclusive leadership. Moquegua Crece (Moquegua Grows) works to create socioeconomic opportunities for local communities through public-private collaboration and enhanced dialogue between civil society leaders and public officials. #MoqueguaCrece #Moquegua #InclusiveLeadership #DiversityandInclusion #GoodGovernance IFC Infrastructure | Henriette KOLB | Matilde Bordon | Carla Toledo | Adriana Maria Eftimie | Horacio San Martin Prudencio | Sherry Goldberg | Mirko Leonidas Peraltilla Martinez | Alejandra Veas Vargas | Carlos Andres Pereira Rissi | William Castillo Stein | Ada Calderón

How important is managing human resources in the company? I answer this question in my speech at the AESS Conference in Madrid, where I delved deep into the heart of this topic. In today's dynamic landscape, prioritizing our people isn't just essential, it's everything. From fostering a culture of inclusivity to empowering our teams to reach their full potential, the human element is the cornerstone of success in any organization. A heartfelt thank you to the Asociación Española de Self Storage for the invitation to speak at this prestigious event. In the meantime, I invite you to watch the full video and discover the insights shared. 🚀 I’m curious to see your opinion 😊 #humanresources #leadership #AESS #selfstorage

Colour outside the lines. Holi, the festival of colour, isn't just a spectacle of hues. It's a masterclass in innovation, teamwork, and embracing diversity for the business world. Imagine applying Holi's principles to our organisations. Innovation flourishes when we mix different perspectives, just as colours blend to create new shades. It teaches us the power of diversity in sparking creativity. Teamwork is at the core of Holi. It's a collective celebration, much like achieving business goals, where success is a shared endeavour, not an individual triumph. Moreover, Holi symbolises a fresh start, encouraging us to shed past grievances. In business, this translates to continuously adapting and moving forward, without being weighed down by previous setbacks. Let's take inspiration from Holi to foster an inclusive culture, promote collaboration, and drive innovation in our workplaces. Embrace diversity. Encourage innovation. Celebrate together. Has Holi inspired you to think differently about your business approach? Share your thoughts below. Hi, I am Asheesh Chatterjee, a CA, CMA (India & UK) and an alumnus of Kellogg School of Management; I love talking about Leadership and workplace wellbeing. #holi workplace #leadership

EDI professionals we hear you. In recent times, the focus on inclusion has become increasingly central for organisations and although the advantages of inclusive practices are widely acknowledged many organisations encounter significant obstacles in creating truly inclusive environments. At the upcoming AKD EDI Peer Networking Forum, we'll explore the key challenges of fostering inclusion, with a particular focus on the structural, cultural, and operational barriers that often impede progress. We’ll discuss issues such as resistance to change in some organisational cultures, where EDI efforts are often seen as secondary to traditional performance metrics; implicit biases and a general lack of awareness; insufficient training and resources; and the ongoing challenge of ensuring that inclusion permeates every level of an organisation, from leadership to daily interactions. Achieving this requires sustained commitment and alignment with broader organisational goals. The next forum is on Tuesday 5 Nov from 10-11am. We'd love to have you there so please use the link below to register. https://lnkd.in/ebcqYJxs Phil Newman
