“Solar flares are powerful bursts of electromagnetic radiation that blast from the surface of the sun. They're categorized by strength into lettered groups, with X-class being the most powerful. Within each class, numbers from 1-10 (and beyond for X-class flares) describe a flare's relative strength. Friday's and today's big flares clocked in at X1.18 and X1.43, respectively” https://lnkd.in/gPn6K5Mm

All this water and what could a little tiny moon do to such a planet? A tiny asteroid next to the size of a giant earth? Let’s talk about body’s of waters n moving under seen foundations slipping more unstable landslides while the bombs keep ticking away. Collecting particles little pops of collected water mixed with a effect like a fire and a conductor Does water vapor generate electromagnetic radiation/photons when it condenses into water droplets? I know that gas water molecules need a condensation particle to combine into water droplets. A pair of molecules combine on the surface and in the process transfer their binding energy into the kinetic energy of the condensation particle. Are any photons emitted during this transition? I'm guessing that the answer is no. By analogy, in the gas state a water molecule can be excited into a an unstable radiative state by colliding with an air molecule like nitrogen. Similarly it can be de-exited without radiation by a collision as wel….didnt paste the rest of that spelling let’s leave it for the future

WORD OF THE WEEK 💬 Solar Flare—A space weather term for a sudden eruption of energy in the solar atmosphere lasting from minutes to hours from which radiation and particles are emitted. Flares are officially measured and classified based on peak X-ray flux from 1-minute-averaged GOES X-ray Sensor (XRS) observations in the 1–8-angstrom passband. Classification generally begins at the "B" level (>0.000 000 1 W m−2) and increases by an order of 10 with each subsequent level to "C" flares, "M" flares, and "X" flares. This week's #WordOfTheWeek : #Boron Boron is a chemical element with the symbol B and atomic number 5. Produced entirely by cosmic ray spallation and supernovae and not by stellar nucleosynthesis, it is a low-abundance element in the Solar System and in the Earth's crust. It constitutes about 0.001 percent by weight of Earth's crust. Boron can be added to #Liion battery electrodes, and when combined with other stabilization strategies such as protective coatings, could boost the energy density and stability needed to push the driving range per charge of EVs beyond the 300-mile mark.

Did you know that, by tracking electron values and overall density in the ionosphere, it’s possible to identify fluctuations that cause GNSS tracking or positioning challenges? These electron density changes may occur based on the time of year, the time of day like during sunsets, or during solar or geomagnetic conditions. Use our ionospheric activity forecast map to monitor electron density changes and rapid electron fluctuations to be aware of when scintillation is likely to occur in your region >> > https://hxgn.biz/3Xqza6O #GNSS #Scintillation #TotalElectronContent #Atmosphere #SolarCycle25 #Ionosphere

Theory of gravity EP6. Accretion disk and jet of young star is one of the things that current theory of gravity can not clear to explain this. #Gravity #Theory One of the main principle of mass-energy transformation is the orbital radius of object around central object can be change due the METR changing as the example as below figure That explains the planet will change the orbital radius from orbital A to orbital B cause by the METR of star increasing In case of young proto star the gas will move to the center of accretion disk like the swirling of gas due the METR increasing and conservation of angular momentum If METR is very high rate the pressure of gas will break the atom of Helium back to Hydrogen (negative METR gravity field) again and create the repulsive jet at the center of accretion disk, we can call this antigravity #antigravity Mass can not cause this phenomena #NoGravityBetweenMass This is the mechanism of creation of cosmic ray #CosmicRay

Swamped in Space Waste Could the space race be creating a waste trail exposing our biosphere to rapid and final decay? Why it's vital to find out... and quick-like. _____________________________ Over the past week or so, we've been watching our sun's solar activity ramp up and accelerate toward what some experts are expecting to be a potentially remarkable year. Knowing what we know about solar behavior, it's a bit unsettling that yet another large area of heightened perturbance together with a coronal hole (a dark, cooler surface area) are rotating directly into Earth-facing view. The former just popped off an X-Class flare putting us on alert for a follow-on CME (coronal mass ejection). The latter still poses additional risks of streaming solar winds loaded with charged solar particles. Live view from NASA: https://lnkd.in/ebUFuajW Fortunately, direct hits from CMEs are relatively uncommon. Also fortunate: Earth's atmosphere helps buffer and attenuate solar extremes while allowing for necessary levels of life-dependent heat and light to reach us. But our greatest defender, standing between us and bombardment of solar radiation as well as other destructive space intruders, is Earth's wondrous magnetosphere working non-stop to shield us from some of the most harmful and direct effects of our constantly radiating star - and the sun's own magnetic field! Without Earth's powerful magnetic field to shield us, Earth's atmosphere would quickly degrade... just from solar wind alone, which can more easily cascade from convective, cooler coronal holes. Shockingly (and much like was noted within Earth's ozone layer years ago) our magnetosphere's integrity and capacity to protect life on Earth may be at very serious risk from, once again, hard-charging human activity. Fortunately, Sierra Solter - a plasma physics student at the University of Iceland - has identified a critical and emerging issue we should all be aware of: The unintended but potentially catastrophic effects of decaying satellite megaconstellations engulfing our planet in conductive dust and weakening our natural space shield. Referring to Solter's original research at spaceweatherarchive.com, Dr. Tony Phillips further explores such potentials in his article entitled: "Will Satellite Megaconstellations Weaken Earth's Magnetic Shield?" And, for more on dueling force fields... see how Earth's magnetic shield works below, from the Science Channel: https://lnkd.in/e6usCjsX ______________________________ #sun #earth #earthscience #plasmaphysics #solar #solarmaximum #coronalholes #solarwind #cmes #coronalmassejections #solarflares #chargedparticles #megnetosphere #heliosohere #spacerace #satellites #megaconstellations #atmosphere #conductivedust #lisabrackensolaractivity ______________________________
