Two years of full-scale war. All this seems like a nightmare when you let your mind comprehend what is actually going on. Ukraine has been living and working in unfathomable conditions for more than 730 days. I just want to ask you to support human beings that are fighting on behalf of the whole Europe. Children love all kinds of things... but there is no child in the world who would say I like war. This fact alone is enough. We are Ukrainians and we want this menace to seize existing. We thank the Defense Forces for every new day, for freedom and opportunities. We thank them for Ukraine. We pay respect and honor to the fallen defenders. We are strong together. Слава Україні! 🇺🇦

Today, Ukraine marks an important day — Defender of Ukraine Day. Every day, our defenders safeguard our country, upholding its independence and sovereignty. However, their fight does not end on the battlefield. Our defenders and veterans need ongoing support—from financial assistance to advocating for their rights and opportunities, and helping them reintegrate into society. These crucial issues are discussed daily in Ukraine. To shed light on the challenges and experiences of Ukrainian defenders and veterans, we’ve compiled several key studies: — A comprehensive profile of Ukrainian veterans in 2023: https://bit.ly/4dquXGh — Public trust in the Armed Forces of Ukraine: https://bit.ly/3Blc9ec — Survey on public sentiment two years into the full-scale invasion: https://bit.ly/3BuVSDO Supporting Ukraine’s defenders is essential for securing freedom and peace for all 🇺🇦 #philanhropyinukraine

“The lives of millions hang by a thread, swayed not only by bombs and bullets but also by the words and rumours that ripple through this war-torn region like distant thunder.” Russian airstrikes have resumed in northwest Syria after a 3-month lull, killing 11 civilians and displacing thousands. The attacks follow rumours of an opposition offensive – rumours that opposition groups have notably chosen not to deny. In this analysis, Dr Haid Haid ( حايد) examines how empty military posturing and strategic ambiguity are having devastating consequences for 5.1 million civilians in opposition-held areas, caught between whispers of war and their violent consequences. How did unsubstantiated rumours trigger such a fierce response? And why aren’t opposition groups trying to stop the escalation? To find out more, read the full article here: https://bit.ly/4f3mAlz

Retired Marine and former Corporate leader. I tell stories of my corporate life to help others better understand the true culture of large corporations.
It's interesting how the narrative from the "experts" have changed their narrative since the beginning of the conflict. Experts-retired Generals and foreign policy personnel-originally told us Russia would take over Kyiv..didn't happen. Then they told us about the great gains Ukraine would make in the 2023 Spring offensive...didn't happen. Now we hear more about the defense, holding ground, and the negotiating table. Regardless of where you stand on Ukraine, perhaps a return to a way of thinking made famous by SecDef Rumsfeld who said there are known knowns and known unknowns. There are things we know, things we think we know, and things we know we don't know. So far, it seems the biggest gaff and what we didn't know was the lackluster conventional capability of Russia at the outset. #defense #marines #leadership
As the war with Russia drags on, it is time for Ukraine to go on the defense—and for the Biden administration to focus on bolstering Kyiv’s defensive capabilities, write Emma Ashford and Kelly Grieco.

The most beautiful thing in the world is human. Keep confidential information and identity.. Protection the truth and truth people.. Not drink. Not drug. If interested in me or job offer , send me a message or email.
Dear and Respect Israeli Soldiers, Reserve Forces, and People .. Since israel ancestors from the beginning, Israel has fought against injustice, giving up everything and risking sacrifices... This shows how protecting the faith of Israel and protecting justice and peace is more precious than life... The Prime Minister and his loyal pets are diplomatically isolated and cut off. Additionally, the Israeli military is losing precious lives due to under-modernized weapons and reckless ground warfare. Due to the Prime Minister's reckless deployment of ground warfare in the Gaza Strip, Israel is diplomatically isolated and unable to receive the latest drones and powerful firepower shells from its allies, making it difficult to control the northern and central regions... Politicians Netanyahu and Gantz are using the October 7 massacre and reckless ground war in Gaza for their own political benefit.. Israelis are not like Yankees in their reluctance to fight terrorists. I believe in the Israelis. The people of Israel will keep their faith and uphold justice until the end...

More than two and a half years have passed since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This is the daily reality faced by our Ukrainian friends and partners. We must remind ourselves every day that their fight is not just theirs alone. They are on the front lines, defending our shared European values, democracy, and security. #StandWithUkraine #EuropeanValues #Solidarity #DefendDemocracy European Organisation of Military Associations and Trade Unions (EUROMIL)

Disclaimer. I consider the QA-ish "What if" case with only scholastical intentions in mind. There is one thought that keeps troubling me for a time. The concept of a hypothetical scenario that can inflict huge financial damage on Ukraine and at the same time bring peace alongside. The idea is simple yet very uncommon: to amass the maximum amount of combatants and military equipment just outside the Russian officially recognized (pre-war) territory into Ukrainian lands, then order all troops to surrender and surrender all vehicles and stuff, while not signing any capitulation. The Ukrainian side, allegedly being the "good guys" will be obliged to accept this hoard of people as POWs due to the Geneva Conventions. It means the decent treatment of hundreds of thousands of former combatants, which costs money... To make the situation even more complex, it is handy to surrender an ICBM vehicle with a warhead, raising the tensions between Ukraine and the Allies. The Allies may request their custody over the asset, due to Ukrainian nonproliferation obligations. All of this can result in the stalemate of a political kind...

SUBSCRIBER+EXCLUSIVE REPORTING -- As Russia’s war against #Ukraine nears the two-year mark, perhaps the most staggering measure of the cost is this: #Russia has lost more than 300,000 soldiers to death or injury. It’s a casualty count that nearly matches the size of the force Vladimir #Putin deployed for the war, and it’s far higher than the losses in any campaign #Moscow has waged since World War II. It also begs a question: How is the #Kremlin staying in the fight? https://lnkd.in/ep54WUud

APPEAL FOR HELP Simple. Straightforward. Coming from the heart. SLAVA UKRAINI!
What's happening in Ukraine? This week, the enemy initiated their operation and entered the Ukrainian border in the Kharkiv region. Kharkiv is under constant rocket attacks, instilling fear reminiscent of 2022. The enemy is engaging in combat on Ukrainian territory, and our army is defending fiercely. Our forces are strong, but we're tragically losing some of our finest in this unjust war. If you have the authority to make any decisions, please consider supporting Ukraine in any way possible. 🇺🇦🍀🫂

Russia attacked #Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs, targeting a densely populated area of the city. At least 2 people were killed. Every firm decision by our partners to strengthen Ukraine’s defense has the power to save lives. One such decision that must be made now is Ukraine’s ability to strike back at the military targets in Russia from where it continues to launch deadly weapons and wage its unprovoked and utterly unjust war against our people. #LetUkraineStrikeBack
