Drop Mobility’s Post

Some exciting news, today we’re introducing the first look at a brand new product in the Drop Mobility portfolio- an e-bike charging, docking station. We have always believed in organized infrastructure for public micromobility that still supports flexibility. Drop’s programs can implement a combination of stations, parking hubs, and charging docks. We look forward to adding these docks to some of our existing 50+ municipal customers as well as some new programs in 2025. We are excited to collaborate with Emoby and TBA France Mobility, our partners in this development. They bring extensive experience in deploying outdoor charging infrastructure across Europe for over 5 years, and offer deep technological solutions for electric micromobility. So proud of our newest system, Ride New Haven, which launched this week in partnership with New Haven Parking Authority, City of New Haven, New Haven Bike Share Mechanics, New Haven Coalition for Active Transportation, Community Alliance for Research and Engagement (CARE), among others. Formerly Bike New Haven, the re-launch marks another system revival for Drop, this time with the addition of e-bikes and a long-term vision for growth. Woah it's been a busy summer, and we are excited to announce some recent launches! This week, in partnership with Shared Mobility Inc, Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates, EIT InnoEnergy, Cityfi, NYSERDA, the Village of Ossining, and more, Drop is excited to announce the launch an e-bike share pilot in the Hudson Valley. This launch marks Drop's expansion to another New York State market, joining our successful programs in Ithaca and the Capital Region. So grateful to our team and partners. Here we go! Really great news from New Orleans, which was just awarded a massive $50 million EPA grant to reduce greenhouse gas emissions with an unprecedented $12 million towards bike share. We’re so excited to see e-bikes and micromobility called out as major drivers towards a sustainable future. Big kudos to our partners at the City of New Orleans, Blue Krewe, Greater New Orleans Foundation, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana for making this happen!
